Looking for pavilion seats for both nights. While we’ll obviously be requesting, we’ve only gotten SPAC tix once via WH and last year’s TM queuing was a shit show. Cheers, good luck getting tix to all, and we’ll see you all there.

How is the Best Western directly next to SPAC?

Standard, and expensive

Hampton Inn is $376/night before fees. Nuts.

Considering an Airbnb this year depending on how big our group will be.

Damn!!! I was really hoping the track would be open like last year. That was awesome spending the day at the track before the shows.

Booked a hotel a few months ago, but really there hasn't been much of a change in pricing between when I got it then and what's available now. Either way, I'd love to make this happen this year!

This year prices were super high even before the rumors came out. I assume this is because of the track. There was really no good time to book and I don’t expect prices to drop any further.

I think Saratoga Casino Hotel is the most affordable nice hotel right now.

I wanted to snag it but it requires a downpayment, which I don't want to get into without tickets. I'll just keep my reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn so I can walk to the show if I end up being able to go.

Happy to see this. Went last year for the first time and it was really fun. The countdown begins!

I will get shut out of all conventional outlets for tickets, desperately search, be 10 minutes late on a FS post about 6 times and wind up top of the balcony. I’m not bitter, simply accepting my lot.

Track schedule is out (owt). Races won’t start this year until after the DMB weekend. Hotel prices though are still extraordinary high.

Just booked an Airbnb. Hotel prices are absurd this time around.

We had a really nice AirBnB booked for more than we wanted, but still less than most of the hotels were charging for the same period. We realized, however, that we had some Marriott reward nights AND got another for the New Year, so we lucked into three "free" nights for the weekend.

Regardless, the real difficulty is getting some damned pavilion tix. Lucked into WH pits for N2 last year, but we have ZERO expectations of getting SPAC pits again...let alone from the WH. As some are lucky enough to know/experience, it's quite awesome.

Anyway, looking forward to enjoying the town, doing some more hiking, having a coupla nice picnics, and seeing a pair of fun shows.

Just did the same. In years past you could snag decent hotel rates in Dec/early Jan. I like the Inn at Saratoga but they were already at $370 per night back in early Dec. Found an AirBnB for 2 nights at about the 1 night price of the Inn and booked it. Tickets will happen, some how at some point. But, man, rooms are becoming just as tough to get.

Hello spac people. Another year, another spac. Can’t wait.

Nice about the AirBnB’s. If it makes you feel any better. Year round rentals aren’t any cheaper :lol

Hit up the new brewery downtown (Whitman). Awesome space and solid beers for only being open a month.
