He's the ultimate Flyer. He just happens to play for their biggest rival.

In the end the Pens will be judged on their results, and nothing else. If they ever play up to their potential no one will remember the dumb fuckery, if they never do that's how they'll all be remembered.

Literally, no one else in the league as a camera trained on them to catch a glove being knocked away.

Oh please, if anyone pushed the glove away like he did they would show it. Whether they caught it live or not.

How many other players have a camera tracking them at all times?

If Tortorella starts Scott tonight for Hagelin rather than kreider, he will be making a HUGE mistake. Amirite Blackhawks fans?

This team is thin on scoring as it is. To replace an elite skater with John Scott would be idiotic.

Perhaps Tortorella would do it just to give his guys the red-carpet treatment. Few players (outside of backup goalies obviously) are better at opening the bench door than Scott.

No. :lol

It does sound like torts is leaning that way. Scott had a name plaque in the locker room and kreider didn't...

I can see it now. This will become a disaster if true.

Most have a camera on them at most times. There's multiple cameras constantly filming. Just because it's not aired initially as it happens, doesn't mean it's not caught.

I don't know if this has been covered or not because I didn't back read but is it true that if Kreider plays in the playoffs he burns up 1 year of his 3 year entry level deal? That may be a valid reason to keep him out.

I believe that having signed him, they already have burned a year, but I may be wrong and someone in here may know for sure.

Good point though. But still, wouldn't you want to win this year and worry about that later?

Question is irrelevant. Crosby would either tailor his game or be thrown out of town by the fans if he was a Flyer.

Don't believe me?

Ask Donovan McNabb, Scott Rolen, and Andre Iguolda

None of those guys have the talent Crosby has. None. Not even close.

If they already burned a year I say play him, if not I think it is a huge deal to lose that year. That'll cost the team millions on the other end. If he is only going to be a 4th line guy with limited minutes I say save the year. If they already burned the year I say play him and give him the exposure to playoffs first hand.

No you didn't. You just proved they would cheer for him if he was on their team. Not the same thing. Just proves homerism.

Really comparing Donovan McNabb and Iguodala to Sidney Crosby?

That argument would make sense if we hated every single other player that didn't wear our teams sweater.

There are plenty of talented players that I love (St. Louis, Datsyuk, Stamkos, etc)

You really have no clue why fans boo Scott Rolen, do you. He ruined his body playing 100% baseball in the field and on the base paths while playing on the cement field we called the Vet.

A better baseball example is Bobby Abreu and the better football example is Ricky Watters.

Not it's not. You are saying that Flyers fans don't like him cause he's not a Flyer. But that's not true. They don't like him for a number of reasons. If he's on their team they would would just ignore those reasons.

I believe if he plays tonight the rangers should move anisimov with gaborik and Richards and let kreider play with Callahan and Stepan. The latter two are more defensive minded and Stepan has the offensive ability to put kreider in good spots.
