Excuses. Kings team is full of players out and they’re steam rolling. ;)

It’s more when they get hurt that’s the worst. As soon as someone comes back, two more go down. It’s like a reverse Hydra.

Did someone forget to tell the Rangers fans the game started at 7:00 and not 7:30? This is the emptiest I have seen MSG since like 1996, actually maybe ever. It looks weird.

Penguins doing their Tom Wilson impressions tonight. Friedman is a little bitch with his cheap shots on Kreider. Dirty game by Pittsburg, glad they suck and we owned them this last month.

Had to tell youse guys (and gal) that I saw Zegras play in person last night. What a talent. And he helped the Flyers in their hunt for a good draft pick. Was fun to watch.

Also of note: Did the trifecta yesterday. Went to Sixers, Phillies, and Flyers. It was so fun. Haha.

The venues are literally across the street from each other

Yes. Only had to park in one spot between the venues. Saw every play of every game and every minute of the pregame ceremonies that the Phillies and Flyers were doing, respectively. And had ten minutes in my car after each of the first two games to regroup, snack, and change my shirt/hoodie.

Haven't seen that picture in awhile. Probably taken early 2004 just before the vet was imploded....

Caps are going in dry on the Flyers. Goodness.

Edit: And of course the Flyers are gooning around now.

Good game by the Rangers and Canes last night. Canes just a slight level ahead of the Rangers, but I am happy with the way NY played for a lot of the game. They have gone from looking like the Canes would sweep them easily in 4 to looking like they would at least make a series of it now. All I can ask from NY is upward motion in team improvements. I have no delusions of the Rangers winning a Cup this year and fully respect that Carolina is a legit Cup threat this season.

Also, fair play to the Canes announcers. They called a pretty centered game for a regional broadcast. I appreciated that.

Can't say the same about Caps announcers.

Caps and B's have to be some of the worst in all of sports.

Just need to stay hot. I think we'll make a "surprise" run and have decent cup odds. Need to channel our inner LA Kings hatred and energy.

Anything is possible and I would love if they did. That said, I work very hard to manage my expectations when it comes to the Rangers. I spent 20+ years having high expectations only to be let down. I have found in the past 4-5 years that having realistic lowered expectations has made watching hockey a lot more fun and enjoyable. So for me, just making the playoffs was the expectation this year. Winning a round is an amazing result. I don't need a run and I will be pleasantly surprised if they give me one.

Also, Philly, woof, your hockey team....

Seriously, what happened there? How are they that bad. Also, when was the last time NYR could go in there and dominate 4-0 and not even really have a scrum or fight. Figure it out Philly, it is too weird watching your team not garbage it up :lol

Analysts don't make good announcers, won't argue their insight.

They are definitely sliding at the wrong time heading into the playoffs. Or maybe they just want to avoid Tampa :lol

To be honest, I kind of don't want the Rangers to win the division for that reason too.

It’s pretty wild that Ovechkin is going to have a 50 goal season at age 36, has that ever been done before? Also, I’m hoping the Caps can catch and pass the Penguins so they don’t have to play the Panthers in the first round. A big ole NOPE to that matchup.

Same here with hoping the Lightning don't slide to the 8th seed. Cats look scary as shit.
