I'm not used to seeing an engaged Bruins fan in January. Usually they pop up in the playoffs.

As for the Rangers, another great win last night and a second shutout this year against the Sharks. Also have to say, fair play to the Sharks announcers, they were pretty good last night.

Braden Schneider scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game last night! He was a first round pick the same draft as Laf. We moved up to take him before the Devils could. He has impressed me a lot and last night looked NHL ready.

The Rangers have an embarrassment of riches on the blue line right now and it is wonderful to see!

Rangers scouting and development has been top notch for years. Glad we’re seeing the results.

Why does Hart, the goalie for Philly have a singer on his mask?

Brian Johnson and members of AC/DC? Maybe he likes the band.

Nice ceremony for Willie O'Ree as #22 is raised to the rafters.

Score is awesome.

Nah I didn't like the timing. 7pm puck drop. Do that ceremony at 6:45. Don't start it a 7:05 lol

Ovi takes the league lead in goals and the Caps get their first OT win of the year. Good night!

That was an amazing and impressive win for the Rangers tonight against Toronto. Very fun fast pace game. Leafs were up 3-1 after one and the Rangers scored 5 unanswered with 3 in the third. Ryan Reeves with the 2 goal night too haha!

New York is 17-3-0 against Eastern Conference teams. Bring on the Hurricanes!

Would love for the Rangers to get a big W tonight, but I fully expect the Canes to win.

I myself am on the fence about going to the game. I would too, but I don’t trust the south to prepare for snow in anyway what so ever. Will probably just watch from my apartment rather than drive the 20 minutes to the arena.

Nice! I’m rocking a Mazda 6 so I’m less confident haha. I’ll have to hit you up next time I’m going to a game for an ants intermission beer meet up. Preferably a game where I’ll be rocking Canes gear and not Rangers :lol

Canes flying to start this game. It is fun watching the Rangers play to this fast playoff level. They have had some good chances as well. That said, this feels like if the Rangers bend too much and eventually break and give up a goal this could be high scoring for Carolina. They look dangerous.

Pretty much called this so far. Fun match up on paper, but basically we are learning the difference that the Canes are a legit cup contender and the Rangers are a slightly overrated young team that is still missing pieces to be a real threat against the best in the NHL.

Not sure why Shesty didn’t start this game other than the coaching staff knew who ever did would likely get shelled. Rangers have not registered a shot since the first 2 minutes and totally out played, I’m tuning out on that note as I think I’ve seen enough to know this will be a blow out; but will be back if they figure out a way to compete in the second.

*Related note: when did the Canes become the New Rangers south? It is a good strategy as one thing I for sure know as a Ranger fan is that former NY Rangers always burn the team and if you get enough of them together you will win a cup :lol.

Fun night so far but there’s still 20 minutes. Go Canes.

There’s a different snow day vibe in the arena. I love it.
