Canes had to call up a bunch of people since they have people out for COVID.

Jack Drury, age 21, made his NHL debut tonight and just scored his first goal. His family was in the crowd. Incredible.

2018 drafted, the fucked by COVID so he had to play a year in the SHL, then was able to come back to America. Legit.

Seeing any professional athlete get their first goal, hit, strikeout, touchdown, basket, etc is always great, especially if their family is there for it. Usually brings a little of the feels for me.

I really think if the NHL is not sending it's players to the olympics anymore just send the world junior teams. A lot of these kids will get drafted and some play in the NHL.

Wasn't that kind of a hasty decision? Those teams have probably been over there for a few weeks. I heard they didn't do a bubble this year like last year. Too bad. Sometimes the games get out of hand but there is some great hockey and a lot of these kids will play in the NHL possibly.
