My brother lived in Tahoe for a year or so, I visited once, middle of the summer though. Beautiful area. Super cool for the NHL to take the initiative with no fans and do stuff like this.

This has been a fun season so far and I have watched MANY more games than usual from all teams. Has a setback with my fall surgery and had been stuck in bed for the past few weeks so hockey has been my refuge! Very impressed thus far with the Hawks in a supposed rebuild year, kids are playing great and the vets are playing better than ever. Just shy of a third of the way through the season and they are sitting third in the central despite dressing 7 or more rookies on any given night including usually a goalie. Seeing Kane with one of the best starts to his careen and having 3 potential Calder candidates (Lankinin, Suter and Kurashev) on most nights has been fun to watch and better than any damn medicine out there for my recovery. Not saying it will last the whole season but I think they have pretty much defied expectations, including mine! Hopefully Toews gets back sometime soon, would be nice to win some key faceoffs on special teams plus benefit from his play in general so long as he can get himself back to game shape. Been loving watching Av's and Leafs games too. Hope you all are well.

This Panarin assault thing is a joke. All of a sudden some Putin supporting coach he had over a decade ago remembers him assaulting someone in a bar and no record of it exists nor does anyone corroborate it - and honestly who believes an amateur player at age 19 had $40,000 to spend on a bribe to avoid charges? Give me a break. Sucks he is missing games because of some bogus story invented by people who dislike him for speaking out against Putin.
