Yeah, I would guess he gets 2 games from DOPS and will appeal and have it cut down to a 1 game suspension, he is not exactly a serial offender though I do wonder if his spearing stunt last year that resulted in a fine might warrant an extra game. Never can tell with the appeals process.

Yeah, despite the fact that the Hawks ended up losing that game seven (after coming so close to tying it on that Seabrook shot) I was reading over the postgame coverage and laughed my ass off when I was reading that guys tweets. Sometimes I tend to forget that not everyone is familiar with even the most basic hockey stuff. :lol

Ditto with the Hawks last night. After playing themselves back into the playoff picture and starting last night solidly they fell flat after about 15 minutes and got in their own way the rest of the game with defensive blunders and not being able to stay out of the box. Was frustrating to watch.

Congrats to Chris Kunitz on playing his 1,000th career game - not bad for a guy who was undrafted yet won 4 cups and an Olympic Gold.

Chicago did a great job with that ceremony too, loved how the painting they presented him with (along with the silver stick) had him in a Pens uniform knowing how important he was to 3 cups there. Loved all the messages from his former team-mates too, Fleury, Crosby, Malkin, etc, etc. Shows you how much these guys respect Kunitz.

Congrats to Brandon Saad as well for his 300th and 301st points in this one.

Hella nice comeback by the Hawks.

Lastly, damn are Kane and Kucherov just plain dueling for the points lead, should go down to the wire. Everytime one of them is on the score sheet the other scores as well even during Kane's current 16 game point streak including breaking a Hawks record for 15 straight games with an assist!
