Yeah, time flies - was cool to see Kunitz score for the Hawks. Also is bizarre to me that the Hawks have now beaten the Pens in 10 straight games despite all the firepower the Pens have and how the Hawks have been trending down for the past 3 years. Also kind of cool that the the two teams combined have won 3 cups since the last time the Pens beat the Hawks in 2014. Go Hawks, getting closer and closer to a possible playoff spot, if they can keep clicking and go on a run I could see them easily making the playoffs! Get it done boys!

Very weird stat about the ten games.

Last night was a little weird. Hawks pp was on fire though.

Yeah, I had known about the stat since their first meeting this year and I was stunned to hear it. Pretty much the past ten years have been dominated by the Pens, Gawks and Kings who won 8 of the past ten cups, you'd think the Pens would have eeked out one regular season victory over CHI since 2014. Regardless, with all the talent those two team have it is always a fun game to watch.

Agreed, Hawks PP looked solid last night, I know on paper they went 1/4 but it may as well have been 3/3 since the Pens didn't clear the zone well and goals came 2 seconds after one penalty expired and 7 seconds after the other expired. Honestly though, the just gave Kane too much time to pass the puck and twice on the PP's ge found someone wide open on the back door for a tap in so to speak.

If I was a Pens fan I am looking at that minute plus 5 on 3 and groaning that they didn't cash in. Forget the Hawks PP, that was the real turning point in the game for me.

I really liked what he said about hitting guys who are cutting the middle, pretty much saying it's impossible to him them cleanly so he stays away from it.

Damn do the Flames have the Hawks number, that is 6 straight losses to Calgary. Ugh. Winnable game tonight and they flopped.

This is a really good interview. Definitely worth the 15 minute watch. I had forgotten completely about the water bottle thing :lol :lol

Also I agree with Crash on Dustin’s comments on hitting guys cutting to the middle. That’s great to hear. He seems like a really smart player.

:thumbsup It was a nice refreshing interview, I also loved seeing his reaction to his goal in OT during his 1,000th game.

About the hit comment, yes he is a smart player of the game and isn't just a guy that wants to hit people just to hit them (as most fans think of him). Thanks for watching guys!

Tom Wilson has the 2nd most goals ( only second to the league leader) on the Caps - he’s done this while missing 1/2 of the season to suspension and a concussion

He has been outstanding. He is practically a kid and playing with the poise of a 3 time vezina winner. Simply amazing, you guys should have started him against the Hawks and maybe PIT ends their 5 year losing streak against CHI.

This is simply amazing, both the reception and the shot. One of those 'holy shit, how did he do that plays.'

Vrana is special to watch - he’s making the decision easy between him and AB65 right now

Will be interesting to see if they end up dealing AB65 before the deadline. He’s starting to bounce back after the healthy scratches.

Vrana is playing well on both ends

Yeah, he has a stellar career in front of him, going to be a joy to watch for years to come. Can you send him to the Hawks - give you John Hayden in return! :lol

Vrana is quickly becoming everything they hoped Andre would. I really think at this point the best thing for him is a change of scenery. I really like Andre but he’s just not becoming the top 6 player they thought he would. And now suddenly Vrana has started to fill that role with authority. There’s just no need to really wait for Burakovsky much longer. I mean he’s in year 5 now and we’ve barely seen 50 goals from him total. He’s still only 24 (it feels like he’s been around forever) so there’s still a chance for him. I just feel like the welcome is worn out in DC.

In other news, what’s up with Kuznetsov? His game is clearly off right now. I did think the power play had their best night in a while last night.

So - what happened to the Flyers? Didn't they have a bunch of top prospects over the last 5 years?
