Yeah, that Czech kid was unreal. He could single handily win that team a medal. To be honest, I'm disappointed tonight's game doesn't mean anything but it will be nice to see your captain eat his words after the red white and blue suffer another loss.

The Alumni Game was incredible. Seeing the 90's guys skating one more time brought back an awesome childhood. I grew up idolzing Johnny LeClair, Rico Desjardins and though he didn't play, Hextall. Seeing Lindros, Therien, Podein and Rex as well was awesome.

And this picture brings a tear to my eye

You think Bobby called him a pussy after that?

I did like the ovation he got though. For how badly it ended in 11 years ago it was nice to see.

We may only be good at hockey (and generally curling) but we aren't assholes eh? This is a country where you bump into someone on the sidewalk and both people say sorry. If anything, we are over polite :lol

Wings-Hawks Winter Classic is on Versus right now. Pretty much just watching it for Seabs hitting Cleary into the bench. Ha.

Fuck the haters, Lindros is the man. The guy did nothing but give his heart and soul to the team. Unfortunately, many people--from the organization to the fans--didn't realize it until later. I wish they would just retire his number and put him up in the rafters. He deserves it immensely. The guy was the only superstar in the city in the 90's--after the '93 Phillies run, and before Allen Iverson was skipping practice.

Big day! Being from jersey, flyers rangers is intense around here. Half the state roots for Philly and the other half for the rangers (with about a hundred devils fans sprinkled throughout).

Let's go Rangers!

:lol:lol

They win three Cups and still can't sell out playoff tix. Such a joke.

Phils/Yanks; Eagles/Giants; Flyers/Rangers. Jersey has always been split being inbetween the two cities. It's such a beautiful civil war haha.

Flyers/Rangers is one of the greatest hockey rivalries and it's going to be shown at full blast on a National setting.

Let's go Flyers!

Yeah flyers are easily my number one rival as a ranger fan. Yeah, the devils are closer but there just isn't the longstanding rivalry like Philly/NYR.

Staal returning for the classic today. Crazy coincidence that both Jordan returned last year for the classic, and now Marc returns this year.

"Canada" never rioted. a group of individuals in Vancouver caused some havoc after game 7, not because the canucks lost, but because they had an oppurtunity to burn shit.

Bullshit. Those were hardcore Nucks fans rioting. Troublemakers don't wear throwback Vancouver jerseys and all this hockey crap to just burn shit.

Montreal has done it before as well.

It is Philadelphia...

Great pace to this game but this style favors the flyers. Rangers need to get in the corners and hold the puck.
