As for this thread, I honestly don't care who made it I just thought we all had an understanding to start a tradition within the Ants hockey community to have the fan of the team who sucked the most start the thread.

And since the Flyers are now in golf mode I guess I can talk about the Flyers. I am glad Carcillo will be gone. I know a lot of Philadelphia people will be calling for a new goaltender and they are all wrong. Bobrovsky had a hell of a rookie campaign all things considered and deserves the chance for next year. Its also hard to figure out what else to say they need because of the cap space issue. I really like our defense right now, but they are getting old and they are paid pretty well. I wouldn't mind seeing Coburn moved if we could get something good in return, but I don't know. Still there is a long time til big moves are made.

Fair enough, I guess I did miss the sarcasm of telling someone to burn in an incinerator. Did not mean to (and wont) make a decision on you based on just that alone. Still hate the Flyers though.

I vaguely remember talking about it a couple weeks ago, but as I said, I've been insanely busy and just haven't been around the past couple weeks. Must have missed most of the conversation about it or just forgot, and I felt like talking about next year.

He was talking about the thread. And that was a joke towards Ricky, who is everywhere. Ricky is a respected Boston fan and we love busting his balls.

And cool it with the NJ shit, JRS. A good percentage of Philly's fanbase is from Jersey.

How is it a tradition that the team that sucked the most gets to start the thread? If I recall correctly, didn't Joe start the 10-11 thread last year?

Was relaxed in my response. Was being serious when I said I wouldn't judge someone on one or two posts on an internet forum. I am one to admit when I am a bit harsh. Thought that is why he didn't respond anymore.

I might be the only person who cares about the Panthers lol. They were once my favorite team ages ago. Back when they first started my Grandmother lived right near their arena and I used to go to games. But living up here I could never watch them so I became a Rangers fan. But I will always have a soft spot for the team.

Also, funny Panthers story. I met a German couple at Oktoberfest in Germany this year that were HUGE NHL fans! They both followed the sport an knew a lot about it. They informed me they would be making their way to the USA for the first time ever and would be attending an NHL game! I asked what game they would see....they were lucky enough to score Panthers vs. Thrashers tickets in Florida! They told me they couldn't wait to see what an NHL crowd was like in person. I told them the might be let down as they would probably be the only 2 people in the Arena!

It was a funny conversation and I hope they enjoyed themselves! Last time I went to a Panther game you could get tickets for $7! I would got to all 41 Rangers home games if they were that price!

This is the first time I've ever been excited to see what the sabres will do during free agency. Usually it's damage control but they have a chance to really make a splash this year

Are you talking about me? I haven't responded to anything because I just got home from school on 4 AM Saturday and I have been enjoying the family and gf and not really being on the computer to post on the webz.

This thread should stick around only because us, as a collective NHL body, can make fun of Blackhawks fans, despite the fact that they have won a Cup more recently than the Flyers, which I am sure they will ultimately point out.
