Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Red Wings look really slow. Boston is everywhere but as was just pointed out not a fan of open nets.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Gus has been so great in OT
|
Ruh roh bruins.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Nice good job Bruins
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Feel so bad for Red Wings fans. Ultimate what if season. They play so well when they have everyone. I wouldn't count them out of this series yet
|
What a stud Dougie is, really stepping up without Seidenberg. Playoffs are heart attack city.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Total bummer for Monster. Played a great game with the late call.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
shot literally hit three people on its way into the net
|
Mackinnon hurt. No bueno.

Minnesota continues the suffocation... 3rd period and the Avs have 8 shots on goal. That's right. Eight.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Justin Williams scores, if the Flyers organization didn't suck and would have kept him they would have 1,000 Stanley cups

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Suffocation is a great word. Neutral zone's completely clogged up in the middle
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
What a fantastic finish to both games so far.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Hot damn. The Wild looked like the rangers there. Wow.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Another deserving win by the wild. The Avs have a lot to figure out
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
sorry Matt, but it's good to see my pick the Wild tying it up.
12 shots to 32. Jesus. 3 of them from Ryan O' Reilly. |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Kings up 3-2, final score going to be 8-3 sharks, right?
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Avs have been outshot like crazy since the series went to MN.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Sharks just got out worked that period. Let's see if LA can keep up that effort.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
It's not like the Avs were playing poorly. In fact, they were noticeably better in their own end. The Wild just figured out how to shut them down and get in their way the whole game. Kuemper saw nothing but his own d-men's asses the whole game. Just phenomenal positioning and pressure by Minny.
One thing I still love is the Avs confidence with the goalie pulled. They didn't get it done tonight, but they sure as hell thought they could. Need to find a way to harness that intensity and urgency for the rest of the game. |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
I'm only looking at stats on a computer screen — was losing Barrie that big of a difference?

Ryan Wilson was Barrie's roster replacement, and he looked rusty and disinterested. Tough year all around for him, spent a lot of it in the press box. His days with the Avs are numbered. Wouldn't be surprised if Sarich dresses next game. EDIT: But let's be clear. The Avs did not lose this game because they were missing Tyson Barrie. They lost because the Wild were the much better team. Plain and simple. |
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
Light em up Kings! Wow. Too lil too late though.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
No sweep for the Sharks. Hopefully they can finish it in game 5 back in San Jose.
|
Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

Sarah, great game by Brown tonight. That's what captains do.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread
All of a sudden I'm excited to watch the Sharks/Kings for some reason...
