Not to happy the Sharks drew the Kings in the first round. They knocked us out last year I think and would not be surprised if they beat us again

Marty needs to either retire or stay with the Devils. He's not a #1 anymore, at least not undisputed #1. Maybe a 1A/1B thing but he can't put 60 games in anymore. I say just hang em up.

He says he hasn't made a decision. Said he wants to be able to play at least 30 games. I can't see him in a backup role and if he did that with the Devils, that would have to be awkward for Schneider I'd think.

Speaking of retirement though, a nice scene in Anaheim last night.

They were amazing in their prime together. The problem was, that's all the (Mighty) Ducks had. You shut them down and it was easy to beat them.

This was awesome to watch. Super classy of the Ducks fans, giving Jiggy the reception they did.

Yup, not sold on the Ducks. Great season, but playoffs can be a completely different animal. Stars are built like a playoff team. Benn and Seguin are beasts and in the games I've seen, the team can be relentless with their pressure.

There's always a 7 or 8 seed that pulls off an upset in the playoffs. If Lehtonen can hold his own I think they've got a good chance. He's the biggest x-factor to their success.

If they get past Boston, they can beat anyone in the East. Plus late in the series they'll have Zetterberg back and Ericsson sometime in the second round maybe so they could. I don't see them getting past Boston so it won't matter but like I said, if they can beat them, who can't they beat? Boston's the best team right now.

Yeah, they have a shot because they have better goaltending. It's the rest of the team that'll both have to step up and help contain the Pens offense. I personally don't see them being able to do it in a 7 game series against the Pens, but you never know.

As soon as go to twitter I see Trotz out in Nashville. Not that I put blame on him, but I think it's just time for a new voice. Actually not sure a new voice will do much when they don't spend a lot of money but still was probably time. Toronto gonna come calling? Vancouver?
