The Flyers are historically bad at shootouts regardless of who is in net.

Not being a homer, but I'd take Duncan Keith over any other defenseman in the league.

Did the Preds really just score 4 goals in the 3rd period to win? Sweet jeebus.

EDIT: 3 goals in 3 minutes. Wish I could've watched that.

Stalberg tallies his 15th.

Some players Stalberg has as many goals as:
Teemu Selanne
Anze Kopitar
Patrice Bergeron
Zach Parise
Dany Heatley
Shane Doan

Some players Stalberg as more goals than:
Pavel Datsyuk
Jamie Benn
Nicklas Backstrom
Paul Stastny
Danny Briere
Martin St. Louis
Alexander Semin
Henrik Sedin
Patrick Kane

We needed to bury a few of those chances in the 2nd. May come back to haunt.

Corey Schneider. Good Lord, sir. Kid was incredible tonight. Great hockey game. Hawks needed to just finish one more of their chances...too bad because they played a very strong hockey game. Central getting away. Honestly right now, though, 6th place would be a nice spot to finish in the West. Much rather have a 1st-rd match-up against the Sharks than the Wings/Blues/Nucks.

No, you're right. It's only 4 pts between 1st and 4th. Still, feels like it when Detroit, StL, and Nash are on fire and the Hawks just aren't playing their best hockey. They did play a very strong game tonight and probably deserved to win, but it's still not a win.
