Ovi has as many Cup wins as the Golden Knights. That will change after this season. I’ll let you figure out how that works out.

Rangers season is done. Time to start the rebuild.

Heard some rumors about Ryan Mcdonagh heading to the Bruins to help out their blueline. Overall I am just interested to see how the rebuild shapes up. This era of NY Hockey is over and it is time we look towards the next generation. Hope we don't have to wait 10+ years to be relevant again.

Watching the Jets/Knights highlights and at the beginning you hear the announcer saying the two best teams in the West....something you never thought you'd hear in a Jets/Knights game....

It was a weird thing too. Just bumped a guy in the corner and I guess it tweaked something. Missed him in last night's game, but it's a good opportunity for guys (ahem, Rantanen) to show they are not just riding his coattails.

Avs are right in that wild card race and could easily fall out, but I just have to remind myself that they weren't expected to have nearly the amount of success they are having, both as a team and in terms of individual player development. With that in mind, this season has to be chalked up to a success whether they make the playoffs or not. I fully trust Joe to not go messing it up by trying to pick up a rental just to make the playoffs. Stay the course and keep the long-term vision in focus!

The Leafs just took it to them last night. I have to say, as a long time Leafs fan, it's way more fun watching a team that isn't terrible. The kids are so good. So good.

Holl - 26 year old AHLer, gets goals in each of his first two games on the Dad's trip. Such a nice time.

Does anyone know why the Caps always get the prime time game day of the Super Bowl? I have yet to figure that one out. Roose you’re the media mogul ITT, can you shed some light?
Because no one wants to watch the Caps in the rest of the country so they figured they'd put an automatic L in that spot for ratings sake

The NHL had another wtf with the goaltender interference last night. Cost the Wings a point. The best tweet was from Wings radio guy not sure if it was the right call cause who knows what goaltender interference is anymore?

It is a little funny that Kessel's sister Amanda (a pretty damn good player) was nicknamed "Grandma" at age 24 after returning from over a year of concussion problems. She joked about it saying she was just happy to be playing and knew the nickname was a joke. Grandma at age 24, sort of weird. ESPN has a solid article about her online.
