Well. It never ends well for my team. In fact, normally it ends in particularly embarrassing fashion for my team. And I take it way too seriously and it stresses me out. And then when the inevitable disappointment happens, I get so annoyed with hockey I normally stop watching the playoffs all together.

I'm glad they made it, don't get me wrong. But I don't root for a team that actually wins when it really matters. And I really don't think I'm being overly harsh on my team by saying that. Because it's really true. That's why when I see the Wings fans and Hawks fans complaining about how shitty their teams are playing I roll my eyes. Try being a life long Caps fan, then we'll talk about how frustrating the Wings were in March. So it's a love hate thing. Honestly, it was kinda nice being able to watch playoff hockey last year with no rooting interest. Sounds really weird I know, but just being able to enjoy the hockey was kinda awesome.

So Sens in....amazing. I am picking them in round one, whoever they play.

I said I was worried the Wings wouldn't get in cause I thought OTT would win out and I was half right. 4-0-1 Sens finished. Never thought it would be the Pens who would fuck up down the stretch.

Good luck against the Icelanders! Hope they momentum thing works out.
