next biggest game of the year is tomorrow night!

Agreed. And probably with another team he's never played with before. I think it's awesome that he seems to be playing for reasons other than winning Cups or money. It seems like he's playing just because he loves to play and wants to experience all types of different situations. I'm sure the kids on all these teams love having him.

Still crazy to me that when Jagr started playing, Aaron Ekblad wasn't even born yet.

True story, but in NHL 14 I traded Coburn and a 1st for the 2nd overall pick in the '14 draft and selected Ekblad.

Also some team put Ekman-Larsson on waivers, and I picked him up too.

Now I just have to find a way to get McDavid in this upcoming draft in Be-a-GM.

It sure looks like Vegas is gonna happen. Hard for me to believe, but signs pointing that way.

Kings aren't making the playoffs. Don't deserve it anyway.

At this rate, Wings might not. A big week coming up with these 4 games. Didn't play bad in FLA but 2 goals in 2 games ain't gonna cut it.

A point is huge. Wings looked much better in the third. Need to keep it going in OT and future games. The goals will come eventually.

Wow that was huge. But it's a Western team again. Wings are kicking their asses but struggling in the Atlantic

Not sure who I am rooting for right now. I guess the lighting cause odds of Wings catching them are slim so want to keep the Bruins behind.

Abdelkader's goal technically shouldn't have counted, but I was rooting for the Wings to win anyway so I won't complain.

For those that didn't see it...check him out, put the puck in with a broken stick.

Yeah. In real time looked like it happened simultaneously (stick break/goal) but clearly happened before he touched the puck. I'll take any win I can right now.

Fun weekend for the Rangers!

Also, Ottawa is starting to look like a team that may steam roll someone in the first round lol. Wow they are hot right now.

And could face your Rangers...

With two games in hand on Boston and only 1 point behind, could be a crazy finish. Did the math for my boys after they win and Boston loss. If Bruins went 9-0, Wings could go 6-4-1 and be tied in points with them. Since Bruins won't go 9-0, I feel ok about making the playoffs now. Will lose in round 1 if they face Tampa, but hey, they'll be in. lol

I am actually pretty confident in the Rangers this year. If it is meant to be it will be! Yes we could lose in round 1, but I don't think we will. Even if we do, I am still pretty grateful for last years run!

I don't want Ottawa or Boston in the first round. That said, if we get them..bring it on! Can't be afraid of tough matched if a Stanley Cup is the goal!

Oh yeah, much more gratifying to beat the good teams. Although always worried when the Wings were at the top, having to face the lower teams cause they were always playing the best hockey going in. I've said it before though, my favorite non-Cup winning year was 2007. Wings had won one playoff series in 3 years and were facing a tough Flames team in round 1 but beat them in a tough series and then faced a good Sharks team that was expected to win the West. Wings found a way to win that one too and could have gone to the SCF's that year. Didn't expect much and was a little scared of the teams but they won. When people say it only matters to win the Cup, you can still enjoy a run even if you don't win it all.

Now Kovy wants to come back. Guess that whole ruble crash is putting a pinch on his earnings over there.

He needs the go-ahead from all 30 teams to come back next year...I would love for NJ to not give their approval. :lol

Jonathan Toews collected his 500th career NHL point tonight.

Boston is playing right out and Ottawa is playing in. Unbelievable turn in that race. I predict Florida sneaks up and takes it from both of them!!......said no one.

Anyway, I am looking forward to a rematch with the Kings tonight....but even more I am looking forward to a chance at seeing what Ottawa really has on Thursday!

If LA comes up short this could be a huge year in the playoffs for Canada. Should be fun to watch!
