The two-week rule is for waiting two weeks before requesting tapes of shows (which I violated a page or two back). So I tried to do a rip myself and be a little helpful.

(If there's another two-week rule, I'm not aware.)

Denver is just being obtuse...

Re: Dave Matthews Band to Launch Limited-Run SiriusXM Channel

I did a rip of the show from last Friday. Here's a ZIP that has the show split into tracks, and a file of the whole show unedited. The reason for this is because I always do additional cuts/edits for my own personal preferences, so I wanted to give everyone a copy of the unedited show.

https://www.mediafire.com/file/6yxmv...2C_GA.zip/file

Here's what I edited for the individual tracks:
- cut out the Sirius intro and outro
- shortened the gap between songs by removing nearly all Davespeak
- removed Stefan's bass solo intro for Watchtower (I hate listening to these 2-3 minute preludes for Crush/Watchtower at home, don't mind it if I'm at the show)

Other than that, it's pretty much unaltered.

Artwork: https://www.mediafire.com/view/hgdtd...twork.png/file

(Not great with torrents, so I apologize it's not available in FLAC. I tried to rip as high quality as possible.)

For audience tapes. I try to get mine out within 3-6 hours after the shows but sometimes things happen, like people have work, life, etc. Another example is when Alpharetta is back-to-back with Tampa (like 2019 and this summer), it's nearly impossible to get a tape out of the GA show before making the drive to that show. We'll figure it out. Raleigh I'll have it up immediately.

I had the honor of shaking your hand in Alpharetta in 2019. You do incredible work for the community. If I were in the PIT with you in Raleigh I’d grab you a beer. I’ll be stuck on the lawn.

I should have the "de-edited" version ready to post this weekend. With Sirius's normalization corrected, etc.

HUGE thanks to Watsonbriant for the rip: I would happily subscribe to SiriusXM, but in Europe is impossible. Thanks a lot also for giving people the choice for a different editing. Personally, I generally like Dave speaking before the songs and also long intros. What I cannot stand is radio comments within the song. I hate that! I am looking forward to download and listen to this show.

I remember you, you were super kind and fun to talk DMB with! Man, Alpharetta is such a nice venue for DMB.

Raleigh I don't have pit but I do for Charlotte. Some WH seats for Raleigh but that still should be no problem. We are trying to get at least one taper in the pit in Raleigh somehow and then clamp on to their gear (whoever it is) but if that doesn't work out we will still be ok. Let's meet up before the show if you want, or even at the show.

What other shows are you doing this year?

Sounds awesome brother. I’m setting up a couple of tailgates for both shows so I’ll PM you details.

I’m trying to get a ticket for Alpharetta too. My wife and I are taking a trip to Seattle later this year and we’re going to hop over to the Gorge for one of the three nights.

De-edit is uploading now. I'll have links in an hour or so. Lots of fixes. Sirius intro went right to the downbeat of PNP and took work to make smooth, and tons of track transition fixes and denormalizations were required.

Here is the 4.28.09 Alpharetta "de-edited" source, from the Extreme rip. As always, there's 320 kbps mp3 and flac.

For those with OCD out there, here's a quick 2 minute touch up of the cover art with the correct month

Listened last night. This sounds so good. Honestly better than LT55's mix on the next night.

Really excited to have both nights of the stand. I hope they keep this trend up. Would love for them to dive back and give us other nights of other LTs.

The highlights here: #41... others have said it, but man do i miss that sax solo. The song is SO MUCH better with it. I used to look forward to it at shows during this era. I hope they bring it back.

Did anyone get a chance to listen to LT 16 this weekend and hear if it was better quality than the actual LT?

Why would it be better quality?

I hope so too, but this band is trending towards almost no saxophone in songs...for some reason they prefer RR screech solos to one of the best sax players on the planet.

I honestly think if it were up to Dave, he would just have a four piece band with Carter, Fonz and Tim on stage.

No way, Dave loves the big sound and RR/Buddy.

Does he? Come Tomorrow was essentially those 4 guys playing. The big sound is basically Tim blasting away with little nuance or solos from the horn section. Buddy brings some energy, maybe he would make the final cut.

According to the Sirius website, this Friday is a rerun of the Noblesville show.

They could have cleaned it up a bit. It's been 11 years since releasing..

It might end up being that, but that show has often been their generic placeholder until the final decision has been made. They often don’t have it set until Thursday or Friday

Buddy was barely in the band for CT. Dave is obsessed with letting RR do whatever he wants.

They are not going to invest the time and money into touching up something they're going to release free to Sirius XM subscribers that will be ripped for non-Sirius XM subscribers.

All of a sudden, I'm not seeing any of the concert series shows when I search for them. Is there a trick to searching them on a computer that I'm missing? Did something change?

Looks like this week is a re-run of the May 14, 2019 show in Des Moines.

If anything, it will be worse because Sirius normalizes these shows by track so you’ll hear the sound jumps and drops where track breaks would be losing the dynamic of the show, but not forcing listeners to turn up and down their audio.

Just heard an advertisement on the station that’s it’s the 2019 Des Moines show. Whenever I think about that show, I think about the people that went to Nashville :shrug(happy we ended up cancelling that trip)
