Rinne is untouchable. Not looking good for the Wings, but they have been falling a part for the last month or so now. However, can't forget about last year when we took it to 7 games against Sharks.

As a long time Red Wings fan, I am so fucking sick of seeing them, year after year, outplaying the hell out of the opposing team and yet it's the dominated team that always gets the fluke goals and comes out the victor. This can't be some kind of anomaly. There's got to be some error in the Wings play for this to always fucking happen as spontaneous as this game can be. It's insufferable.

For such an asshole, Madden has cutout quite the niche for himself and is the voice of the Pens in the Pittsburgh media. Most people, not saying you, aren't smart enough to seperate his schtick from his ability, and his biggest fans listen for hockey news as well as him messing with those folks.

Hawks are sticking up for each other and that's good to see. They were really coming in waves at the end of the period. Wish the PP could get something, though.

It was a fluke goal in the context of Howard's contribution to that catastrophe, but otherwise you're right. It was terrible play all around.

The other three goals, that includes the one that got taken away, were pretty much all flukes - Wings can't win in front of the net on either end, it seems.

That third period was painful to watch.
