They should put a statue of each of us outside of our respective stadiums.

Wings have a Gordie and Ted statues inside JLA. Nick and Stevie have to get one eventually but probably not until the new arena I'd guess.

they should put a statue of Fleury outside of Nationwide.

without him who knows how long we would have had to wait for our first franchise playoff win

it would be cool if they made it big enough that all of the fans had to walk between his legs to get into the arena

I would have said walk through a goal net with him standing behind it but that's me.

So Teemu is playing back in Finland this year it seems. One of the contracts offered was to just play home games. Now that would be a great setup wouldn't it? A crap-ton of money just to play hockey and never have to travel.

His ass should be retired along with his number. Those hip checks he used to throw still make me a little randy.

So my dad always buys the Stanley Cup DVD that comes out every year, and I just watched the new LA Kings one. This was Sutter in all his interviews. :lol:lol:lol Two-time Stanley Cup winning coach right there, folks. Love me some Darryl.

Sarah, have you watched the DVD? Dustin has a hilarious bit where he's talking about the "spirit fingers" Martinez did after scoring the Cup clincher.

yea, didn't roger clemens do something similar towards the end of his career?

either way, i feel that would ostracize you from your teammate though, don't you think?

Probably. Still a sweet gig if that's what he ends up doing. Says he's tempted to play there, we'll see if he does it and if it's for the full season or just home.

They did some interviews with Dustin's wife and you see lots of his family and stuff. I was looking very carefully for you, friend.

So the ALS bucket challenge has been going around the team and the challenges have moved around the team. The best one was Grabner so far, which was not surprising since he funny on Twitter.

http://video.islanders.nhl.com/video...629249&lang=en

Best one overall of an NHLer so far was Bissonette, though I saw a meme today that this was the closest he would get to the ice this year, lol.

Hey look some hockey news: Ken Holland signs new 4-year deal with the Wings. I'm sure some Wings fans will throw a fit because too many think the grass is greener on the other side. This is great for the team. Next up Babcock. Sounded like Holland getting done was first priority and Babcock is next. Here's hoping.

So Red Wings Facebook page posts a pic for "fan of the day" and it's usually a fan in some place around the world with a Wings jersey or shirt on. Anyways....so today it was some girl in Austria with a really cool background. They posted it with this caption: "Austria? Well then, G'Day mate!" And so many people did not get the joke. WTF is wrong with our society?

Aprently. I laughed at it and then I see these people saying "Austria or Australia?" and thinking these people have been deprived. I had a bottle of Mike's Hard Pink Lemonade and it's all about breast cancer awareness and it had two owls on the neck of the bottle and the first thing I thought of was "Nice set of hooters ya got there."
