I was watching antsmarching youtube video...it said RIP Leroi..he died tonight..

I didn't believe it..I started freaking out..I tried to get on AM and that's when I realized it...

I got a call from a bunch of friends saying they saw it on the Cville news..

I cried like a fucking baby for a week whenever I heard DMB

Yeah, it was so frustrating that night. Trying to get on the boards was damn near impossible.

I was pretty shaken up the few days after....I remember getting teary eyed listening to Graves from RR95 the day after.

It still hasn't really hit me.. He was my personal fav. member for a while, and it really is sad to see him gone.. If I ever decide to see them on tour again I will probably be a wreck.

I wanted to make my 500th post in this thread.

I was listening to Proudest Monkey from LT4 and I was talking to my mom about school and what not and I told her to hold on for a minute as I enjoyed the solo. I really miss him and it's going to be so tough seeing DMB next summer with out the man in shades stage right.

It will bittersweet to see DMB without Roi, as my last concert was 6/6/08 and of course Roi was there.
But I love this band, and I know they honor his memory well and Coffin is a great guy to step up for him. :)
