That outro is spectacular. And I love the crowd's reaction to the lightning during the outro. 2nd favorite version behind Staples.

Too me it will always be my favorite version if that song. Obviously the implications staples has made it pretty much THE version if that year

Listening to YMDT from LT 13 right now, and even though it's not an iconic Leroi song, his tone is just so unmistakable and rich. I miss his deep sax sound, that soulful way he would wind his way through anything, bringing melody and emotion together even on songs that might fall completely flat otherwise.

So my wife and I spent the last 2 & 1/2 days touring Charlottesville finally after all these years and we saw many of your famous sites. On our way out of town at noon yesterday to come up to the Bristow show, we stopped to visit you and pay our respects to you at the cemetery. I got all choked up as I still can't believe you are no longer with us. Such a powerful moment.

I still have more DMB shows with you than without but that will change in a few years and that will be another sad reminder of your tremendous loss. Just last night, I remarked to my wife that the only reason I didn't mind hearing WAYG was for your solo and, though Jeff is great and had such huge shoes to fill, it just doesn't sound as smooth and silky as how you did it. I wish I never hear it again, to be honest. It's not the same.
