Nothing like waking up today to an email telling me I ordered a $150.00 Joe Pavelski jersey last night. Just had to request a refund from the seller because apparently my little brother drank a bit too much last night celebrating my BDay and used my account instead of logging out and using his. Happy not was ordered after midnight and that today is Sunday so I doubt the seller has packed it up and I am positive the post office is closed so there is no way this jersey went out. I may have to smack him around and tell him to use his own damn account and reorder when he wakes/sobers up! :lol

I saw that Zima's were coming back in April. I was really hoping to be chugging Zima's to a Caps cup win Gronk style in June. I ended up crying myself to sleep while being banned for.....nothing?

Did you see Sam Donnellon's piece in the Sunday inqurier about the Flyers and their age? He literally spelled former LA Kings d-man Matt Greene's name wrong (had Green), had Mitch Marner as a fourth round pick, and had Connor Brown as a d-man and not a winger.

I did not actually. I'll have to look. That's bad. I always try to double-check hockey players names for that reason. I'll do it on occasion with HS, because, let's be real, there are too many ways to spell Shawn and Katelyn :lol:lol

Though I wanna see if we ran that same story in our paper since a lot of Inqy's stuff goes to AP and we use it during the season since I'm on high school beats all season.

I don't like Sielski. Nothing against him personally. I'm sure he's a decent dude. I just hate how he stirs up shit.

I know it's an unpopular opinion but I really like Carchidi. He's a great person in general and his writing and reporting are strong.

But the best is Bill Meltzer. He just fucking gets it when it comes to being a beat reporter. He writes interesting, does the news well and his features are top notch. He also understands the game the best of any beat writer in Philly. And he's a nice dude.

I've never been so excited for snow in my entire life. I'm a 31 year old Canadian Male that grew up playing football and baseball. I have skated maybe 5 times in my life prior to when my work buddies got me into playing hockey last December. Toronto is filled to the brim with outdoor hockey. Every year MLSE renovates a new outdoor rink in the downtown core and have done so for the past 5-6 years. There is pickup hockey literally every night all throughout the city. It's never brought me so much joy but my god I am awful.

I can't wait for the ODR's to open up to get out on the ice as often as I possibly can.

On a side note: If anyone has any tips on how not to suck, I'd totally be open to hearing about them.

This season has a lot of question marks regarding the Kings. It's going to be an interesting year, hopefully a good interesting.
