I thought Boston looked fine to be honest. They had a really close call on the first power play and the shots are even.

I found them to be struggling to control the puck and get through the Blues through the neutral zone. Johansson was the best at getting through

Yup. All the beat guys said he looked fine at practice and thought he was just playing it up at the scrimmage but...I don’t know. Somethings off

How do you all put up with this nbc feed, the commentator is so bad with his constant description of every little touch or thing.

Don't let Boston fans fool you. They were insufferable until the Sox started winning championships.

I don’t hate the Bruins at all.

:lol moneypuck

Anyway... we’ve talked about this before but thrilled might be the wrong word because they beat the Pens. With that said every rival/hero needs a worthy opponent so hats off to the caps.

It was only 2. That 04 ring didn't actually come until early 05.

I just looked in the Sox thread to see if there were pre-championship posts. Looks like the thread started in 2004 (maybe ants was the catalyst for all the winning?!?!?!)… found this little gem.

Re: The NHL Thread: The year of Stanley Cupsets!

Having more people locally care about the Patriots and Red Sox winning championships than the Bruins winning a championship doesn't mean the Bruins have a weak fan base

boston has always been a huge hockey town. let's see if we can get more people confirm that by posting on a dmb forum

Yeah. Boston at its core is a hockey town...and Bruins fans might be the most hardcore fans of any of the 4 sports teams. (do the Revs count?)
