Even if they don't win, in this day and age to do what they (and the Kings) have done the last few years is impressive.

Yeah, I mean it's not like they've already had 3-game losing streaks in each of the first two rounds or anything :lol

Completely agree...

This Hawks series reminds me a lot of the 2011 Hawks/Canucks series. Three game stretch here of things just not going right for the big names on the Hawks lineup.

Game 4 of that series #36 made his return and had a hell of a night, and this was the result:

Rene don't call me Ray Bourque now.

NY needs to be careful that momentum doesn't switch.

Bad ass call by Brad Watson.

McD's play on that 1 on 1 leading up to the goal caused me to conceive all over my TV.

Re: The NHL Thread

Now this is just getting ridiculous.

Re: The NHL Thread

That's a hell of a job by the Canadiens to get the lead right back. Usually when you give up three straight goals like that, it's hard to get the lead back at all -- let alone that quickly. This one is incredibly far from over though, obviously.

A power play, good timing.

Game was starting to get boring from the lack of scoring.

Perch1019 05-27-2014 09:59 PM

For a big tough dude, PK Subban goes down very easy...
So happy they finally called those pricks out for the faking. Love Milbury tearing them on it too.

It would be cray cray if V puts Henrik back in the net. Not going to happen....

But after what I saw tonight, anything is possible.

Re: The NHL Thread

That's a terrible hit by Moore. Might be every bit as bad as Prust's hit. It wasn't quite as late as Prust's, but XX stopped and launched himself back in the other direction to hit Weise, well after he had passed the puck. He may have even come off his feet. Enjoy your two-game suspension Moore.

Re: The NHL Thread

Bad bad hit.

LAA1305 05-27-2014 10:36 PM

Re: The NHL Thread

Yeah, Canadiens players have been diving and embellishing and making a mockery of the game on multiple occasions this series. But after that hit by Moore, hopefully the finger pointing stops because these teams are even now on over-the-top dirty hits.

Not only was Moore's hit dirty, but man was it stupid. Trailing by two halfway through the third period and he puts his team on the penalty kill. Doubt he expected to get five minutes, but he had to know he was going to get called for something between hitting him late, high and leading with his elbow.

Perch1019 05-27-2014 10:38 PM

Dumb and dirty. I don't understand why you would even do they at this point in the game.
The rangers came out for the third playing like shit.

LAA1305 05-27-2014 10:44 PM

Re: The NHL Thread

What in the world is Vigneault thinking? There have been 10 goals scored in this game, including four by your team. The Rangers scored three goals in a 5-minute span in the second period. They were about to have a 40-second power play.

Why the hell would you pull your goalie with 4:24 left in the game?

aeroshady 05-27-2014 10:45 PM

Re: The NHL Thread

NY better bring it on Thursday now. Series goes back to Montreal and I believe the Habs will be in the finals....
