That's very interesting. I noticed the Almanac has one from '13 listed, but not from '14 so I wonder if that one wasn't heard?

I wish they sound checked in the open more I used to love hearing what was checked and then seeing if something cool would pop up that night or soon thereafter.

There hasnt been a known soundcheck for a few years. Good chance if you heard anything it was just the PA system playing

The last soundcheck I remember was 2012 tour opener in Houston. I wanna say that was the year they did it the first night then stopped after that. Since then I don't think they've even done it at tour opener venue.

i was listening to heathcliff's haiku warriors today and I thought of something that happened in the 8 grade.


So I was in ICT and this girl that was sitting next to me was singing in class. I wasn't paying attention to what she was singing. But the dude on the other side of her ask her what she was singing. She said dmb. Then I perked up. I was like yeah I'm a huge fan what song are you singing? Then she replied heathcliff's haiku warriors. (At this time I knew rare songs like last stop, minarets, Sugar will, sweet up and down ext but not the super rare stuff like heathcliff's haiku warriors, people people , toy soldiers ext) so this was the first time someone ever stumped me on dmb. So I decide If knows something that rare she must know one of the most popular songs the band has like ants. So I ask her if she knew ants marching. she replied no I don't know that song. Then she went on to say that the only song she liked was that one song and her brother was a big dmb fan and he played it in the car.


What are the chances of something like that lol?

I'm biased because I was there, but it has good performances. Some duds too, but really good Stone, YMDT, OSW, and Two Step. If you don't have a 2010 show yet though, I'd suggest LT 22

It's on Spotify though if you want to listen to it for free.

Its a very good two step. Also probably has the best YMDT ever... and very good stone, warehouse and OSW.

get LT22 instead if you don't already have it. LINYC has a few good performances, but the 2nd half of the show is pretty bland in general. both shows have a few similar songs, and LT22's performances are generally better. if you already have LT22, then you don't really need LINYC.

Studio Two Step is so fucking gorgeous and intense.

It's such a monster live song and always has been that I think the studio cut doesn't get enough love.

I think studio Two Step is an embarrassment compared to the live versions.
