Thought about the acoustic thing more and I think it could be really cool to see something like Jimi Thing get a face lift and be played in that setting. No more 18 minute Jimi with Sexy MF - 8-9 minutes with "What Will Become of Me?" Played at the end.

That would be nice.

I will never tired of watching the Two Step video from Deer Creek this summer. Buddy's reaction at the end is great. Pretty much in shock of what Carter is capable of.

I’d love to see What Will Become of Me. Every time I see Dave & Tim play Jimi, I hope they go into it. But the crowd is always is going nuts at the end of Jimi. I think that’s a big reason why he doesn’t do it, especially if it were full band

Pig is slowing making it’s way to my #1 favorite song. I’ve always loved it, but it’s usually top 10-15

I miss A Dream So Real. So happy we have a couple 2007 versions in sbd quality now.

Anyone else think that Buddy Strong should be turned up a little during his solos?

No. His sound mix is adequate. You want a level mix when it comes to organ/keyboard/piano accompaniment. Otherwise you get The Doors, which is fine for them. Solos are another thing, and maybe he needs to be raised in the mix for some of those. But overall, I'd say what I hear from him now is pretty much perfect. He needs to lay off the churchy stuff on some songs though.

If anything needs to be raised in the mix, it's Dave's guitar.

I don't think Tim Reynolds is a good fit.

At all.

I think his playing is overbearing and doesn't mesh with the music and lessens every song. I don't get the need for it other than when they are doing a 2 man acoustic tour, then it's okay.

I’m in this camp, I think his overall mix is just right but there are solos where they could definitely afford to turn him up...that being said I think the WTWE and Raven intros were perfect the way they are

Was always big into the “give Tim an acoustic during his he full band sets” movement

Listen to the intro to If I Had It All on LT42. There was definitely some magic that died with Roi. Listen to this and you might even miss Butch, too.

This, but also LT 33! Such a great outro when they fed off the crowd. This is my favorite Jimi, but also a top 5 LT.

I would accept it as a top five tune. It's got everything that makes DMB great, special, and unique...including pushing the boundaries on what they'd previous done.

Possibly Boyd's best work in the band?

Pig is my #1. That Weekend on the Rocks version still moves me to my core.

D&F was awesome. I'd love one tour of something similar in the future.

Watching 12/22/03 and just finished the D&T portion:

Bartender, Crush, Grace, The Stone, Cry Freedom, and Nancies. Such a good start to a helluva night.

Was a really good time, happy to have experienced that.

Especially so close to the holidays- Some Devil is the perfect winter album.

I hope Dave does more stuff like that down the road. Dave & Tim full band would be so cool:

Bismark (debut) has been stuck on repeat for me lately. I wish this was in their regular arsenal during tours. From my understanding, they shelved it due to a studio leak?

Bringing back KTK in 2011 was one of the cooler things they've done- and it sounded amazing.

Astonishing its only been played that one time and never again since
