Yeah Rashawn owns that Captain... quick other 2 Rashawn favorites of mine off the top of my head are Spaceman from LT28 and Proudest Monkey from one of the recent WH discs. I think it was from a somewhat recent SPAC show.

Spaceman LT28 is vastly under appreciated

I agree. Spaceman is not that bad.

Spaceman suffered greatly from overplay from 09-13. That and it's association with corn bread, another song that gets irrational hate, caused many here to dislike the song.

Can't believe that's the first time they've ever played it. Sounded phenomenal.

About what time have D&T been going on stage this tour? Pretty standard ~8:20-8:30?

7:30-7:40 is a pretty hard starting point.

Every time they start Spaceman I groan. But by the end of the song I'm dancing and singing along. Every time.

It's a catchy tune.

This morning, in between hitting the snooze alarm and falling back to sleep, I dreamt the new DMBLive release was a '91 Charlottesville show.

Is anyone able to PM me the Blenheim Vol. 1 tracks? This is one set of tracks that has eluded me.

I never really liked Old Dirt Hill until I heard D&T play it at The Mann. D&T is much better suited for that song.

Totally agree. Same goes for Cornbread, Stay or Leave, and Gravedigger.

two things:

1. Folsom Field is by far my favorite version of Warehouse. Such a cool stop time intro. Roi is on fire.

2. I love when Rashawn interpolates Shake Your Body Down by The Jacksons into Ants Marching a la LT13

Would be an unreal opener/closer. I could see Dave doing a little vocal intro to segue the two.

Does anyone watch Blackish? Lots of DMB references. Wondering what the connection is? Also references on New Girl and Fresh Off the Boat... funny stuff!

Probably just one of the writers is a fan. There were also several references in The Office and Parks & Rec. Also, DMB is an easy target to stereotype a character as "bro"
