As I became a bigger fan years later, I looked back and couldn't fucking believe how good this show was. Ranked 1 of 47 on the almanac's rarity index for the 03 tour. And the video is filmed a row behind where I was sitting, found my 14 year-old self within 20 seconds of the video. Borderline emotional find for me last night.

Highlights: Pig opener, amazing Bartender, beautiful PFWYG, haunting partial Blue Water E1, What You Are encore closer. Show is seriously great.

ALL of the new songs (minus Be Yourself) are better than anything off of AFTW.

I disagree respectively. I wouldn't consider them better, just another great progression for the band. I love AFTW. Without it, there probably wouldn't be these new songs the way they are. But they are all great songs. Especially Samurai Cop. Just my opinion.

Bismarck is my jam. It gets me to DMB bliss the way any classic does with some improv in the jam.

I listened to AFTW and BW in full over the last few weeks. I am surprised at how well BW has aged. It still sounds very "fresh" to me. You forget how fucking fantastic the studio cuts of SMLAM and Seven are when they get murdered on here so often. AFTW is also not as bad as people make it out to be. It's not fantastic, but it was an enjoyable listen with some high spots. It really pumped me up to know that maybe some of these new songs will have studio cuts, and how good they are going to sound

I still love Big whiskey, it came out right as I became a fan so I have a lot of nostalgia for that album. I still love it whenever I put it on. Live wise the songs may be overplayed, but as long as there mixed into the set list well I'll always enjoy them.

Ok so I was bored and this is what I did

I translated the lyrics to ants marching to Chinese then I translated them back to English Heres what it came up with

BW will go down as probably their most universally appealing record. It's been the first record I go to these days when I try to turn some new toad onto this band, and then I'll slowly introduce the first three after that. The tunes are there, and it's the only record they've done where it's the closest to what they sound like live. I remember it definitely re-energized me as a fan. Live burnout aside, I think it'll continue to get better with age.

That Seek Up from Riverbend the other night was top shelf. Love the sound of the horns during the intro jam bit there.

Im really happy for Boyd Tinsley...people had him written off as dead a few years ago. Just listened to the Ants from last night....best Ants I've heard in years...he's stealing the show.

He sounded pretty great on the Pig periscope as well. He's really on this year, great to see him recover from that surgery

There was a time not too long ago when people thought he was leaving the band...its nice to see that all turn around. The times i've met Boyd, we all know he's quirky, but he comes off as a really positive and kind person, so seeing that Ants really put a smile on my face
