Never got to see him play. Hadn't checked any websites the night before, so on my way to Charlotte on 7/1, my first show, my brother texted me and told me about the accident. He was one of the things I was looking forward to the most about my first show.

yeah i remember on the way to the Lakewood show of this year, I was thinking, ill have plenty more times to see LeRoi live.... then next month my bro texted me, i almost cried, its hard to watch some of the concerts now.

Just got done watching Roi rip up #41 on LS. Basically one of the best performances known to man...gives me the chills every time.

I'll always remember one of my best DMB moments of all time. Camped out all night on the streets of Atlanta to get front row at Piedmont to get to hear Roi bust into OSW when it opened the show...got the chills there too.

I saw Trippin Billies last night (they were pretty good btw) and all I could think about during every prominent sax part was Roi and how much I will miss him every summer. RIP :leroi

So after not thinking too much about Roi recently... I randomly started tearing up today while listening to the Two Step intro from the 8/19/08 show right after his death.

I just found out about this. I had known about the accident, but I had been on my honeymoon with no TV or internet when he passed away. Since the tour was over by the time I got back I had not checked in. Just popped on to davemathews.com and the R.I.P. splash page came up.

I am deeply saddened. LeRoi treated me to 20 great shows. Not sure what will become of the band in the future, but it will surely never be the same.

This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing this right.

I haven't been into DMB that long, only about a year, but a friend introduced me and I quickly became obsessed. I went along with her to the show at Nissan Pavilion and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The sax totally blew me away, especially during "The Dreaming Tree."

I can't believe I was lucky enough to catch LeRoi Moore's last show. He was such an incredible musician and such an important part of the band... It's really hard to imagine them moving on without him.

We love you Roi! You will be forever missed. :leroi
