Carcillo is a repeat offender though.

Eh, I'm good with it. Carcillo is a repeat offender, and it was a dangerous play. Eerily similar to this hit:

http://youtu.be/1B4uX03vs8E

And we were begging for a suspension. Ovie should have gotten more than 2 games for that one, and probably would have under Shanahan.

Those are plays we're trying to eliminate. Bad play by Carcillo. It's really a love/hate relationship with this guy, and I know a lot of people were hopping too quickly on the "love Carcillo" bandwagon. I hate shit like that.

Come on now, if he were still a Flyer you would be applauding this decision. Carcillo is a repeat offender and needs to get it in his head that he needs to play not like a complete jackass. He is a good asset to have if not playing like an ass hat

I'm starting to think someone sold their soul for that 09 cup. Since Consol opened, Crosby, Malkin and Staal have only played 2 games together, and one of those games was the classic. The injuries just keep coming, but they've somehow been able to stay afloat.

If Columbus were to stay in the West and be in the Hawks division, there would be no consistently difficult teams in the Hawks division. Terrific.

Too bad I hate the Flyers or else I would say thanks! I was most happy with how the detail on the gloves turned out. All it took was a carving knife, an x-acto knife, and 3 hours of not blinking.

Carving is tough. I could barely make a smiley face.

Looks like Avery might be back with the Rangers on Monday.

Yeah, it's hard to argue with it. I don't think there was any intent to injure but it was a mistake in a dangerous spot on the ice.

Nice to see the Hawks win last night after their dreadful effort against Carolina. It's still early, but the Central is looking pretty bad so far with Detroit going on a 4-game losing skid. The Hawks have a solid record so far but haven't looked too dominant and they have some issues that need to be worked out, IMO.

Emery had a really, really solid game as well against the Jackets. He gave up a few rebounds but made some very good stops.

Apparently my losing team has signed Kronwall to a 7 year deal. Nothing on financials yet.

7 years 33.25mil. $4.75 cap number for Kronner. Not bad. Apparently the last year he get's paid 1.75mil. Within the rules by a long way this time since he'll be well under 40 when the contract is up. The NHL wanted averages so..

Here's the Hot Stove from HNIC talking about it:

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockeynight...#id=2162216125

Elliotte Friedman says he thinks Detroit stays in the West in this scenario. Again this is what I was ok with before. It helps Detroit in every way possible other than the move to the East. Probably only going to the far west twice at most is awesome and playoffs in division means no more Phoenix, Western Canada or Cali trips in the first two rounds. It benefits the teams like the Sharks, Ducks and so on too. Pens fans won't be happy with it because of losing Philly and only seeing them twice but is there a way everyone is happy? Probably not. You can make the Pens happier by moving them into the div. with Philly and moving the Canes out and I think that might create less of a problem.

Of all the players that's who you think of? Well I guess he probably does create bad memories. No just being a monkey this year since someone gave us the costume. Guess there is a DMB allusion to that one though.

I'll dress up as Janne Niinimaa if that makes you feel any better. :lol:lol

Rusty Olesz is sitting in the press box in favor of John Scott. I think that I could get ice time over Olesz at this point, and there is absolutely no reason for it.

I hate the Predators so damn much. They have no primary scorers, so anybody that scores annoys me. Weber and Suter are awesome, in the discussion for top pairing in the league. Rinne is a nut, and every single game is so goddamn boring, dump and chase, clog the neutral zone and no offense happens. Kill me.

plus they're annoying. Did I mention that?

So just putting on a Planet of the Apes costume with a Flyers/Canes jersey? ;)

I guess some people were pissed on Twitter after pics leaked of Raffi Torres dressed up as Jay Z for halloween. He was black and everything. :lol

Weber and Suter are the shit. Love Rinne. I hate the fact that we never take shots. Half of our power plays are the crowd yelling at the team to just take a fucking shot. If they'd start doing it more often then we'd be a lot better off.

You can't tell me you don't love the Tootoo whistles. :lol
