What songs have you heard for the 1st time in 2022?

We had a massive unintentional hiatus from seeing the band, so we've missed a bunch.

So far we've got:

Madman's Eyes - Bristow
Break For It - Hartford
Break Free - Hartford

Covers:
Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away - Mansfield
The Maker (full band) - Bristow

2021 was only 3 shows and we got:

The Only Thing - MPP
Walk Around the Moon - SPAC
The Ocean and the Butterfly - SPAC
#27 - SPAC

Covers:
Time of the Season - MPP
Satisfaction - SPAC

Anyway, looking forward to SPAC and Camden and hoping for a few more.

Madman’s Eyes, Break For It, & The Maker (full band)

Would be great to catch as it’s been a while:

-Break Free (haven’t seen it since Raleigh 06)
-Shotgun (haven’t seen it since Va Beach 09)
-Dreaming Tree (Only seen it once D&T Mexico 18)

Still Chasing hard:
-I’ll Back You Up
-What You Are
-Kill The King

In Charlotte, I got these for the first time.
Break for It
The Only Thing
Grace is Gone

At Charleston N2, that was the first show I went to (out of 20) that I didn’t get a new song.

Finally got my white whale, Seek Up, after 22 years of chasing it. Mansfield actually got a whole bunch that I hadn't seen them play live previously. I know that Hartford had a bomb drop of a setlist, but I was entirely happy with what we got in Mansfield.

Re: What songs have you heard for the 1st time in 2022?

11 shows 2019, 10 shows 2021, 12 shows 2022 (so far)

First time in 2022:

Shotgun, Dreaming Tree (my #1 chased song for 50 shows, got it AT my 50th show in ATL), Break for It, Madman's Eyes, Old Dirt Hill, Something to Tell My Baby, The Maker, Rye Whiskey

Shout out to You Never Know, one of my favorite songs/top 5 DMB songs and I got it in Jax again after 2021 being the first year I saw it

First time in eons:

Break Free (once in 2016), #27 (once in 2013), Come On Come On (2018), Time Bomb (2018, but 2012 for full one)

Tour going well for me so far. Would like to see Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away and Steady As We Go.

Re: What songs have you heard for the 1st time in 2022?

So Far as of Mansfield Hartford:

Drive In Drive Out
Break Free
Break For it

Despite 10 shows last year and 2 this year still haven't heard The Only Thing which is crazy because it was played in before my first show then the show after my 2 run Gilford shows then never came back despite me going gorge mohegan and MSG lol. Now I will gladly take the live Madman's in Mohegan over any TOT of 2021 but just funny how certain songs elude you.

Doing 5 shows in 2022 (Deer Creek, Gorge) and my first pair are this weekend, but the only songs played on the 2022 tour I've not caught at a show before are

-Steady As We Go
-Something To Tell My Baby
-Funny How Time Slips Away

Hope they dust off some biggies I haven't seen before soon!

Was glad to catch the breaks too, but it's more about enjoying them and wanting to hear them more often. I don't just want to finally heard Dreaming Tree, Proudest Monkey, Busted Stuff, etc., I want to hear it at least once a tour, ideally more.

That these awesome songs are so hard to come by, but we've heard Bayou at 12 of our last 23 shows...it's even more depressing that it is frustrating.

One show this year, don't see the band that often but felt like I got al ot of songs I never heard before
Granny, Break For It, Walk Around the Moon, Gravedigger, Rye Whiskey
Just realized not seeing Granny until my 11th show must be a weird stat
