**Deer Creek 2012**
 

Hey Everyone,
It seems that I post this thread earler and earlier every year (with the exception of 2011).

It always makes me happy to post this thread as we all know that it is getting close to see DMB at one of the best venues in the country.

There has been a lot that has happened over the past year. The venue has its 3rd name in title sponsor. Klipsch which is a local speaker company is the new sponsor. I am pleased that it is something that is at least music related...

As most of you know I left Live Nation in March of 2011 but, I am still involved with KMC in a similar role that I was before I left, I now only work on show days.

So, with that being said I am pleased to say that DMB will be back in 2012. It was really tough not having the band around last year. As you all know I can not say anything in regards to dates or anyhting of the like. All I can say is the band will be here!

As we get through the new year and we have an announcement I will post as much information as I can to help everyone out.

We will be camping again in 2012 and there will be some sligh changes from 2010. Again more information to come in the coming months.

Good to know, thanks! Here's hoping that the weather is calm and peaceful this time! (Although the 6/18/10 show was definitely a cool experience in it's own way!)

Well hell it feels strange in here. Almost like moving from a childhood home. I would say it's so new and clean in here but 'Rozz has already been here so I am unable to use that compliment on our new diggs. Kyle, thanks for starting this and thanks for the info, looking forward to another awesome year

we SHOULDN'T do this thread like the last one......let's face it, it was a wreck for a lot of people and I would be in favor of not douching up the thread this year so that others aren't put off by all the clutter and actually get the information they are looking for (yes i admit i was a huge reason for this in 2010, and for that i apologize). we will obviously still use this place to get to know others and communicate about event details, but hopefully less clutter means more people getting in here and planning for the shows.

I will be planning an ants meetup again, but probably won't start that talk until March or so.

Glad to be here this year

I also saw someone post a rumor that Blossom is going to be June 2nd, and historically that show has been the week before or after Deer Creek... So maybe we get another early June show. 8th and 9th?

also, if Roy Williams is still on the bears by the end of this week, imma be pissed. Our supposed "#1 receiver" can't catch a ball with his hands. How many times has he bobbled the ball this year? And that ball yesterday was not a hard ball to catch, it should have led to a touchdown, but instead it cost us the game. He is a pathetic excuse for a WR and needs to be let go now.

it all depends on the tour dates.....it's so hard to predict where my wife will be with regards to her pregnancy. Riverbend is like a 2 hour drive from my place, which isn't bad under normal circumstances. If the show date is close to the due date, i'm not gonna feel good about being 2 hours away and getting a call saying she is going into labor.....
