And Jesus Christ can the Flyers just win this series. I don't know what I will do with myself in the worst happens...

25 is surprising, but not undeserved. I still want to see consistency across the board.

If the worst (for you) happens, the sun will rise the next day. And when it does, you can go see Scott Hartnell on the golf course.:). I still think the Flyers take care of business at home.

Jonathan Toews on Raffi Torres' suspension: "Maybe he doesn't think it was such a normal hockey play anymore."

Enough about the Torres play. Kane, Toews, Sharp need to have a big game. Otherwise, season's going to be over.

I'm 100% alright with this suspension (obviously)

If this is Shanny "righting the ship" for missing the boat on Weber, then good. Just keep it up from here on out. He fucked that one up, let's get over that and move on, he's been trying to make up for it since.

I'll only be happy to see Hartsy on the golf course if I was playing a round with him :lol

Fuck I hate Q.

Saad - Toews - Brunette & Kruger - Kane - Sharp are just the worst lines imaginable. Didn't work the other night, why does he ever think Brunette could keep up in the top-6??? Just fucking dreadful. Stalberg down with Morrison & Bollig...what in the fuck kind of shit 4th line is that? Yeah let's throw 3 guys who haven't played with each other all season and hope they find some chemistry. :rolleyes

Who has earned time on top-6 this year, Stalberg or Brunette? :lol Q is a moron.....just keep going with your boy Brunette because he got lucky and tipped one in a couple of games ago even though he hasn't done shit otherwise.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread

Eh, Bruno has been better than Stalberg all series. Stalberg has been either a ghost or turning the puck over. He had one of the worst shifts I've ever seen last game, too. 25 hasn't earned a thing the past 4 games.

I'm ok with those lines. I think it's the right 6 guys.

I think Sharp should be with Toews though. Put Saad with Kane.

I just feel like, why not go back to Toews & Kane? Those guys have played together so much throughout their career, but Q won't give that a shot? Those guys could dominate the offensive zone and provide a spark to the entire team. Kruger is better defensively and better at the dot than Kane. Fuck Kane @ C, he's been dreadful all series. Put him on Toews' wing with the rookie. Sharp - Kruger - Stalberg had chemistry at the end of the season. Brunette blows. Yeah not one of Sharp/Kane/Stalberg/Toews has been special in this series. Perhaps it's because Q's lines have been fucking moronic.

But the problem is, Stalberg has been HORRENDOUS, possibly the worst Blackhawk forward on the ice (the worst Blackhawks has been Hjalmarsson followed by Leddy).

I like those 6 as the top 6 for now, just mix it up. Bruno doesn't turn the puck over, which is exactly what this Phoenix team capitalizes on. He's slow, but he's smart. Stalberg turns the puck over all the fuckin' time, especially in this series. You're also underestimating Kruger's hockey IQ. He just finds the right place to be and the right place to put the puck. He's quietly very talented offensively without putting up huge numbers.

Putting Kane & Toews together would be mixing it up because they haven't played together in a long time. And it doesn't hurt you because Sharp & Stalberg create enough offense to sustain the 2nd line. And if PHX has to pay more attention to a Toews & Kane line, it might free up 10 and 25 to start really generating some offense.

At this point, Kruger is most valuable defensively. His passing and offensive game have looked dreadful in this series. Still, though, he has value as a CENTER in the top-6 because he can be the defensive anchor on a forward line. So, what's the point of putting him on the wing? He doesn't really ever shoot the puck. He's better than Kane defensively, he's better than Kane at the dot. SO....why is Kane the center on that line? Makes no sense. I know Kane loves to carry the puck and all this, but he's been awful this series. Refuses to shoot when he has the chance, has turned the puck over countless times. He needs to pick it up because 88 just has not brought it this series.

Kane's not centering that line, Kruger is.
