That along with the Karlsson news is just amazing.

What did the Caps ever do to deserve such dislike I guess? Seems like a perfectly likable group to me, always have been.

I think you are taking this a bit too personal.

Ok, I see. Thanks.

No, I'd love to see Edmonton break their streak or the Blues and Preds win. The Caps? Bleh.

Roose, you can cheer for whoever you want. Fuck you and the Flyers.

Problem solved.

Geez, I was just trying to converse and first melted then took it personal.

Roose answered my question so thanks for that.

Reason to hate Ovie? Whaaat??? That's nonsense as well.

Edit: yes, I get the dynamics, still don't get them though when the rubber meets the road though.

I mean like I said Ovie was pretty unlikeable for a long time. And he's come a really, really long way. But I can understand the distaste for the way he used to play the game.

If you're Canadian, a Penns fan or a Crotchbaby apologist you hate Ovechkin

I dont hate Ovie at all.

I root against the Caps but still am a big fan of his.

The Denis Wideman Don Henderson lawsuit is going to be interesting. Henderson waited until he Flames got knocked out to file...

in the exceptionally unlikely chance that the Oilers don't win the cup :) I hope Ovie and the Caps do.

I always have an internal struggle rooting for the Penguins. My dad is from Pittsburgh and I didn't actively hate the Penguins until college. The fans I meant in college were unbearable (as I assume they felt the same about Flyers)

Yeah I'm interested in the outcome of this too. One would think they will settle but I'm curious about the number as it seems Henderson got pretty hurt. I didn't realize he needed multiple surgeries after the fact, I kind of forgot about it to be honest. He hasn't worked a game since.

Is this a serious post?? The Rangers have beat both teams in the past 2 years and the Pens twice in the last 3. If the Rangers stay healthy and play like they did in round one, they are just as capable of winning against either of those teams as they are capable of losing to them.

Again, anything can happen in the playoffs, but the Rangers should beat the Sens in round 2. They are the better team.

He is asking for over $10 million right now. It is interesting because apparently the league was going to let him go at the end of the year.

Had no idea he hadn't worked since.

To be fair we know the better team doesn't always win....Nashville. Especially the way that the Sens play. Boucher used that system in Tampa and they were one win from the Cup final in 2011.

Yeah, that is definitely what I meant by saying anything can happen. That said, the Rangers are faster than they were last year, scoring more than last year, and have Hank on fire right now. If they come out flat, sure they could lose to anyone, but if they play like they did in game 4 and 6 and part of game 5, they should not have a problem with the Sens and will be hard for anyone to beat.

Yeah the Rangers at the end of the series looked good, start of the series....yeah. You'd think they'd be able to keep the momentum going.

Started at Bloomsburg then finished up at Lock Haven. Pretty central locations for both so a mix of both Philly and Pitt fans.

This could be interesting. He is def looking for a pay day.

He could be suing for future earnings in the NHL. But if the NHL can testify they were def letting him go at seasons end for work performance, he prob won't get a penny

I agree - to think NY has zero chance seems weird. Henrik alone wins a game or two.

I could not tell if Ottawa looked that good or Boston just lacks superstar talent. When Marchand is asked to carry your team you might be in trouble.

Rangers were 1-1 vs OTT from December onward. Likely a toss up unless the Rangers PP goes 1/16 (?) again.
