Give Palat all the money in the off-season.

Give Killorn all the trade destinations.

I hope it feels like vindication for the Bolts fans who thought they were wronged by a too many men call in G4 that that was what absolutely crushed any hopes the Avs had in the final minutes tonight in G5

I didn't think we were wronged per se. I just hate when officials randomly start not calling anything/miss shit late in a game.

Pretty poetic justice there at the end of Game 5 though.

Itís funny how it happened that way, but letís be honest. Tampa wouldnít have scored on that PP. In fact, it was more likely they would have given up a shorty to end it.

The way they played that PP was actually terrible. Pass the puck for 2 minutes.

I think that was the right move for them ó you have the lead and the man advantage, so fuck around and drain that clock

They looked really gassed in that OT period in G4

I meant if they had gotten the PP in game 4. Zero chance theyíd have scored. Tonight was smart, just run the clock and keep it in the zone.

I wanted them to be a tad more aggressive but yea the main goal is to not give up a shorty there and leave them with 30 seconds left.

Tampa just has to handle it's business on home ice and then anything can happen in a game 7. That's how I would approach it as a Tampa fan. Avs have to want to win it on someone else's ice.

And theyíve won two on actual goals. Funny the way it is.

I hope the Avs deal the fatal blow in Tampa now

It would be nice to win in Denver, but they blew their chance at that tonight

I'm aware there's a seventh game at Baller Arena, I just don't want Tampa to have that opportunity

And I am the one who doesn't understand math?:lol

The stats they come up with come from the actual game...

Re: The NHL Thread

Have the Avalanche led in regulation time since game two?

Edit: They scored first in G3, but their only other lead is the final score of game four (which was not regulation)

I didn't think Tampa would win Game 5, but knew if they did they'd have a ton of momentum.

I'm glad this series is going deep. Hockey fans deserve it.

Expected goals are about as useful as a shit flavored lollipop. How many goals were actually scored?
