It all depends on who you talk to, honestly. Different stories from different people. Toews himself said he still had some symptoms while skating. He said that it's basically just him "not feeling like himself". As soon as he gets to the locker room he said he feels fine. It's just little things on ice.

Probably a coin flip then. Knowing him though he'll probably do whatever it takes to play, not sure if that is a good thing though.

I guess he decided to sit out the last two games, and it's been his call to play. I bet he plays game one.

Looking forward to the Phoenix white-out, going to be a nice red stain on it throughout the series.

Ya I had those same seats for that game, was about 80% Hawk fans. Game in February was awful though.

My dad was going to fly out for games 1 and 2 but airfare is insane right now, think its between 600-700 range.

My buddy and I just did playoff mode in NHL 12 and did all the correct seedings and freshened up the rosters, and simulated the playoffs 50 times (it took us about a half hour once we could just simulate). I'll do it a few more times before Wednesday. Here are the results:

Pittsburgh - 13
San Jose- 8
Boston - 4
Washington - 4
Vancouver - 4
LA - 3
Detroit - 3
Ottawa - 3
Philly - 3
Rangers - 2
Chicago - 2
STL - 1
FLA - 0
NJ - 0
PHX - 0
Nash - 0

If you are a season ticket holder or mini-plan holder for your team do you get a break on playoff tickets? I'm trying to figure out different teams price their tickets.

If you want to give me your team name, section, normal playoff price and discounted price that would be awesome. If you can take a screenshot showing all that info at once (if your team shows it) that would be awesome.

I'll go first. Kings. Upper Ends. 72 down to 17.
Thanks

So to be clear, you pay $17 for $72 seats in the playoffs because you are a season ticket holder??

I don't own season tickets but I can tell you that is definitely not the case in new york.

That is correct. Round 2 would be 19.
Then again I cant imagine what Conference Finals \ Cup Finals would cost if we ever made it.

I don't own season tickets but for my uncle he pays $24 and the tickets are usually $60 for a regular game and $72 for a premium game. Those same tickets are $105 for round one and $115 for round two. I'm not sure what he pays but I think it's around $60.

$17 is insane.

What people don't realize is that for those simulations, instead of the Blackhawks I put in the Rockford Icehogs and they still won 2 cups, who knows how the NHL team would do?

My first game will be exactly one year ago here in about a week. That's the first time I ever watched a complete game of hockey and I've been hooked ever since. I don't post much in here because I still feel very ignorant when it comes to this sport but the Predators have become a team that I love. I've seen every game that comes on tv and I've been to 10 games this year. I'm glad that Nashville was able to have a team that has this kind of support because I believe if I were in Phoenix or some place like that, I would have never come around to loving this sport. I'm really excited for these playoffs and I look forward to learning more and more about this sport as the years go by. I'm also drunk so forgive my little rant.

Do not feel this way. Some people in here know less about the sport than you I'm sure.

Pens are the better team but they've gone through lapses every time they play Philly and the flyers have taken advantage with their physicality and relentlessness. Will probably come down to bryzgalov and all the rookies for Philly getting their first taste of the playoffs.

Is anyone from Philly going to be healthy enough to return for the playoffs? Briere?

I'm really hoping a 7 game series. I've seen it before where a hyped series ends up getting done in 5 or 6. A few breaks and a team is up 3-1 and you're like damn... NBC Sports you have a reason to actually broadcast the Pens first round series this year. Unlike 2 years ago where we were forced to watch the Pens and Sens while other better series weren't broadcast.

Right on man. I was thinking hmmm what is the best moment. But this is it. They loved him and he loved it there. Didn't want to leave. He was traded for Kilger, Tverdovsky and a 3rd pick. How'd that work out for the Jets/Yotes?

How fucking happy is the NHL that it's the Hawks?

So I wanted to go back to what Chris was saying the other day about being afraid of teams. Mike Milbury was saying on NBC Sports Saturday night, and he had said it mid-day too, when the Wings scored late to tie it that they were happy. "They're happy. I dunno why." Well Mike because real competitors want to win and don't hope for failure. Maybe that's why you sucked so much in management. You should not want to fail and you should not be afraid of a team. If you're so scared that you want to fail, then you don't deserve that Cup. I'm sure going into a series sometimes teams are a little like "man I dunno how we're gonna beat them" and that's understandable but to want to lose so you don't have to face them? Give me a break. The Wings didn't win 4 Cups, 6 Western Championships and I think 6 Presidents Trophies by being wusses. And as Chris and I were saying you could still lose to anyone. Pre-salary cap you could lose to a "weaker" team and you for sure can now. And for the Wings if they are going to have a series go 6 or 7, which playing the Yotes could happen, I'd rather be traveling to TENN rather than Arizona.

Oh and Milbury was saying it's the Wings age again. How many fucking times is that going to be used against them. They aren't getting hurt cause they are old. Ericsson, Howie, Franzen, Kindl and Datsyuk were a few of their injuries. Not exactly the old guys of the team. I know Lidstrom was out but come on. People were saying that in 01 when they had injuries against the Kings that it was age. Injuries happen regardless of age. Maybe they weren't old during their 23 game home winning streak. But now they are.

I'll do my predictions real quick I guess but how knows what will happen.
NYR/Sens: Rangers in 6. Sens will be a battle though. Maybe goes 7 cause the Rangers have had a few not so good looking games but they'll win.

Bruins/Caps: What Caps team shows up? The one from Saturday could cause trouble but I won't hold my breath. Bruins in 6.

Panthers/Devils: I want to say Devils in 6 but I dunno. I'm gonna go in 5. Cats have struggled a lot lately and the Devils haven't.

Pens/Flyers: Should be great and I hope it lives up to the hype. Pens in 7.

Canucks/Kings: Should be a good series. A rematch of 2010 and the Kings are a better team. I think the Canucks get by though and in 7.

Blues/Sharks: It's 2000 all over again. I'm not sold on the Blues as a team being good enough to go all the way even with their goaltending. They still need to learn how to win in the post season. I'm gonna say Sharks in 7.

Yotes/Hawks: Hawks minus their captain and the Yotes are a tough team. I think this one might go the distance as well but not sure. I'd like to see the Yotes finally win a series, although it could postpone a possible relocation. I'm gonna go Hawks in 6 though.

Wings/Preds: Would love to pick my boys here. They have the talent, the experience, the goaltending but can't score worth crap lately. The positive side of that is the Preds don't score a lot either so they won't need to score a lot to win. If they can get enough offense going they could win. I like that a lot of you were picking my boys but I'm gonna have to go against them and say Preds in....7. I think it could be 6 but don't want to lose at home.

That was one long post.
