You are going to love Saad. You now have another top 6 winger who busts his butt, scores, screen, kills PK's, takes faceoffs when someone gets tossed and is not afraid to get into the dirty areas near the net.

That is awful to hear. We have lost a great guy who has forgotten more about hockey than we know - plus he was a great TV guy.

Yea, Flyers/Pens leaked jerseys last week. I'm guessing every team will get them.

Edmonton's all time greatest hockey man passed away this week, tributes are pouring in. Joey will be missed around here - this might be the best article I've seen so far.

Like you know the skill involved in just trying to circle the net like that? Upper body strength and body control?

Yes, I’ve played hockey. It’s a nice play. But you’re doing that weird thing some hockey fans like to do when a more popular sport is in the limelight. This isn’t a dick measuring contest and no one gives a shit about your weird comparison between shooting a puck and hitting a golf ball.

It's not weird. People say that hitting a golf ball is hard but it isn't as hard as hitting a hockey puck. Whilst moving. Like shooting a basketball is not that hard.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make or who you are trying to make it to, but keep on going, it will make sense eventually

Most of these reverse retro jerseys are awesome: nordques, whalers, caps, Jets to name a few. Others should have stayed on ash heap... ducks, coyotes, preds. I’m on the fence about the Pens “Pittsburgh” Jersey.

You were comparing a wrist shot to golfers, unprovoked, to prove to nobody but yourself how much more manly and difficult hockey is.

None of these things are hard. However, they are all equally hard to do at a competitive level.

I can hit a golf ball, won’t go far but I can hit it.
I can shoot a basketball, probably make 25% of the shots but can shoot.
I can hit a hockey puck, won’t travel far or hard, but I can hit it.
I can throw a football, not accurately while someone is running, but can throw it.

Etc.....

Because obviously I was making an argument about simply being able to hit a puck or something? Obviously I mean to hit it well.

Sorry. You just said someone said that it was hard to hit a golf ball. I think it is hard to hit a golf ball, accurately and long.

It is hard to hit a puck accurately and hard.

But, whatever. I don’t really care which one is “harder” in your mind.

They are all equally hard to do professionally. Because they all require training, practice and skill.

Someone that trains for hockey is going to find hitting a golf ball accurately harder than shooting a puck. And vice versa. :lol
