So Flyers fans is Bryz gonna be the Dontrelle Willis of hockey? Great in small market, well not traditional for hockey, but when he gets the big contract in a big market forgets how to play the game.

Haven't seen enough of Schenn to form much of an opinion. But if he continues to develop, $3.6m cap hit seems pretty nice. Only $100,000 more than Hammer's cap hit. If Hawks are willing to give up McNeill they must think Pirri might be ready for #2C role as soon as next season? I don't know if I would believe that.

Would be devoting a lot of the cap toward d-men with the contracts of Keith, Schenn, Montador, Hjalmarsson, Schenn.

The more I think about it, the less I want Nash as a ranger. That cap hit is just insane.

Would not want Schenn for McNeil. Although if that's the route their headin than Kubina is probably gonna cost way too much.

Tough to see the Leafs doing that trade when they are trying to make the playoffs, though.

I hope that this losing streak knocked some sense into them, and have no doubts they can't do some great things come this spring.

I never can catch the games but what happened? They were doing great earlier in the year. I remember they were like 25-12 at some point.

they just snapped a 9-game losing streak on thursday. Toews and Sharp were coming off injuries, Crawford was playing like a dick, Kane and Hossa were slumping at the worst time, and the PK and power play were in shambles. Toews, Kane, Sharp, and Hossa look to be heating up, Crawford is staying deeper in his net and it has resulted in 2 straight solid performances, the PK underwent a philosophy change and they have a different system now, which is something like 14 for 14 over the last 3 games.

The power play is still awful, but i'm never too concerned about that. HUGE games tomorrow and Tuesday, so let's see what happens.

Would have liked Kubina on the 3rd pair but whatever. Don't see how he helps phily if they can't get the goaltending. Hextall will need to step up, I mean Snow, I mean Burke, I mean Beezer...err Boucher... that's not it. Cechmanek? Biron?

Game was loss when Bryz was pulled. I blame two of the goals on Giroux. Lousy passing.
