Typical NYR. Can't close out series in under 7. Flyers have a great chance to win this series now. I am just glad we made the playoffs, but the Rangers are not a very good team. Even if we win game seven we won't beat the Pens. Team is exactly what I said it is all season, a first-second round knock out that will never win a cup with the current roster. Honestly, the east is shit and we are not even one of the better teams in the conference.

I still hope they move on because I would like to be able to watch a game this playoffs.

Edit: I also have 2 exams on Thursday so I will also not be watching game seven.

:lol Greg you are way too negative. Rangers will still be favorites tomorrow night and I would pick them to beat the Pens if they advance.

Why would you pick them? They have never shown an ability to beat the Pens. I like them to beat the Flyers too....although I won't be surprised that on one day rest if Philly just dominates again. But seriously, how can anyone who has followed the rangers expect them to beat the Pens??

Pens aren't that good that's why the Rags have a shot if they advanced

Hank could steal that series. Pens rely on blue line mistakes, I think the rags won't make many and they can generate enough shots towards Fleury to get him rattled. Ultimately I have no idea though.

Rangers will be favored at home regardless of tonight, come on.

Mason has more saves than the two Ranger goalies combined that have played tonight (Lindquist and ?).

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

Talbot. Mason has been a beast tonight. He may steal the one star from Simmonds who has a hat trick

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

34 saves to 24 saves (combined/NY). Mason could have 40 when it's all said and done.

Don't be dumb.

Second good game the Flyers played this series. They need to come out the exact same way to have a chance tomorrow. No way that they're favored in a game seven on the road.

That said, IF the Flyers move on, I definitely like their chances against the Pens.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

They didn't come out all too strong. 9 giveaways to the Rangers 2. Mason played lights out in the 1st to keep the Flyers lead. They did have more energy it seemed, just a lot of mistakes. I like their chances tomorrow night

Saw the fight in 209 tonight. Philly fans are the scum of sports fans. Literally the absolute worst

Really idiotic, just bros being bros from fans of both teams.

Maybe if you actually read the story, you'd know that some kid in a Rangers jersey was causing problems all night, and then hit a Flyers fan while resisting security's attempts to remove him, which started the whole thing, and then after starting the whole thing he ran away, leaving his friends to deal with the aftermath.

Either way, shit like this happens in every city. Don't be fucking ignorant.

EDIT: Sorry Sarah - directed at Brohan. :lol

bonzo48280 04-30-2014 01:59 AM

Philly really is the worst sports city, everybody in here notwithstanding.

:lol I figured. As much as I'd love to rip on Flyers fans, I used common sense. It's idiotic on all parties involved and this can (and has) happened at sporting events in most cities (if not all).

There aren't many guys I like on the Flyers, but damned if I don't love the way that team plays hockey.
