It's called checking from behind. If you want it explained I can post the NHL's video for you. ;)

Tampa? The team that has 3 wins in it's last 10? Shit, we might as well throw in the Wings too since they have 5 in their last 10.

I mean you can't say CBJ should be feared because they are in a groove and then two of other teams you have in from the East have combined 7 wins in their last 20 games combined. If we're talking about grooves Toronto is finding ways to win the last few games.

Buccigross is high if he thinks CBJ are Stanley Cup contenders.

Still 16 games left so CBJ could still fall out of the playoffs too, but if we're talking today they could make some noise. Other than Pens and Bruins the East isn't good. If somehow they got out of the East, do they beat anyone in the West? Doubt it but I sure as shit wouldn't want to face the Jackets in round one. I'd prefer CBJ getting a wild card spot so they can play the Bruins or Pens and if they could beat one of them, would throw the East into mad chaos. I'd love it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bucci hit it every once in a while. Love that guy.

Bucci: "(The Jackets) went 10-4 in January and are 7-3-1 in February-March (through Tuesday's games)."

The Flyers are 7-2-1 in Feb/March.

East should only have two contenders. NYR, Tampa and Lumbus are not contenders :lol

Marty St Louis 1 point in 5 games for NYR. He really solved their offense problems too didn't he?

This. 100% this.

Agreed that NYR are not contenders. It is only Pitt and Bos in the east.

Still like the Blues or Ducks in tr west to take it all though!

I never revel in people's injuries, but if anyone deserves a concussion. It's James Neal.

I'm the same with not wishing players would get hurt, but yes, James Neal deserves a concussion. He plays like a scum bag.

Give the guy a chance to settle in, damn. Let's not jump on the "MSL sucks" bandwagon because he isn't lighting up the scoreboard in 5 games on a new team, 1 of which he had to charter a private jet THAT SAME DAY he got traded to make his new team's first game.

I hear ya, but it just looks/smells/feels like a the same old story with the Rangers and bringing in "stars" to fix their scoring problems.

I mean, I've gone on record multiple times stating my dislike for MSL. I think he's a cry baby and a drama queen. BUT, he's an incredibly skilled playmaker. He'll start to settle in soon.

This is more what I was getting at. He was brought into help NOW. It's been 5 games, so it takes a few more still. They've only got 15 games left now. During that time, the Jackets could keep playing well, Philly could keep playing well and maybe Detroit hangs in there and starts getting guys like Helm and Weiss back, with maybe Datsyuk the week after that. Yes I know it can take time to get settled but this late in the year, sometimes time runs out on you.

If St Louis had a different last name he'd probably be much better at hockey. Nothing with the name St Louis is good at hockey, no matter where you put the accent.

MSL with a nice assist tonight.

Re: The NHL 2013-14 Thread

Hawks do not look good lately. Hossa needs to come back. Just completely and utterly dominated offensively by the Nashville Predators.
