I bet I know how it ends.

Caps will lose tonight, force game 7 and lose at home. :BANG

By the way Cullen was offsides on goal #2

This is just not any fun. I hate this and I'll never understand why I force myself through this year after year.

I didn't notice but you're not the first person I've seen say this. Why didn't Caps challenge?

I don't know. But it was really very close, and I got a pretty good pause on my TV where he looked offsides

Re: The NHL Thread

Unfortunately the angles they showed on TV aren't particularly clear. But it was very close.

So pessimistic, Barbs (and understandably so), yet there's Carlson, tying it up. Lot of hockey left. The Caps can easily win this game.

I'm sorry I try to keep my pessimism to myself but I slipped there :lol

:lol It's all good. Such a pivotal game. I'm at my fiancée's place tonight, and she doesn't have NBC Sports, so I am just following on my phone. I've never looked so intensely at my screen! I'm glad the Pens are playing better than the last game, especially sans Letang.

I did watch the replay of the Cullen goal. It was close, but if what was that obvious, Caps should have challenged.

Yeah I mean, whatever honestly. They probably should've, but offsides or not, plays like that aren't really why the review system was needed. That play is one of those plays that are so close it doesn't give an advantage to the scoring team.

That's like 90% of the reviewed plays though, which I think is one of the negatives of the challenge. In a league that constantly talks about increasing scoring, taking goals away because a player was offsides by half a skate boot is silly in my opinion.

It's not too late to call things off. Just saying.

Ovie slashed him on the forearm. When he went to the room smashed his stick against the wall and was generally furious.

He just returned to the bench

I read it was an arm injury. He's apparently back though. I'm just sick of the injuries with this team.

^ Gotcha. I'm sure he was pissed! :lol

It was weird because it didn't look like much. But Crosby was really upset in the tunnel

Huge finish here for the Caps. Can't go down 3-1. Gotta find a way. They're totally outplaying this team again.
