Can we all just take a second to agree that Brayden Schenn probably just had the best goal celebration of the year last night?

I've felt the same way ever since Patrick Stefan burst into the league.

But whether he makes it into the NHL or not, blowing up a puck is pretty cool.

It's so funny to me how rattled Canada is by Liam O'Brien wearing #87

Re: The NHL Thread

Epically bad call takes away a goal from the Red Wings. Holtby straight up fell down, and they called it goalie interference

It's pretty amazing how he literally fought his way into the lineup during training camp and preseason.

Even more amazing he's actually been a pretty effective 4th line checker

This might be the breaking point for getting the coach's challenge initiated in the NHL.

Yeah, that's the bad call I was referring to a couple posts up. The fact that not only was the goal disallowed but Detroit actually got penalized for it is beyond ridiculous. Possibly the most blatantly incorrect call I've ever seen, and I root for the team that benefitted from it.

Oh my, the Wings are totally going getting boned this season.

Did anyone check on Tim? Is he okay?

This was so awesome. Put this footage on to show young kids how to throw an open ice hit. Square to the chest, legs planted. Nothing malicious, but more than effectively separates Hall from the puck. It's like hockey porn.

I should travel out to Columbus. This might be my big chance to crack an NHL roster.

Just read Briere a healthy scratch tonight. Wow. Hoping for a good start to the long road trip and a rusty Varlamov.

I love watching the Bruins more than the Celtics, but the Celtics quite frankly may go further in the playoffs this year unless things improve quickly for the B's. They need a lot of help and not just on D.
