Terrible game to see in person (although they get a pass from me after seeing Game 6 against the Pens).

We don't need to score tons of points to be the Coyotes. Everyone was predicting a low scoring series for a reason. That reason being that that is the style of hockey we normally play. So with Bergevin getting the Habs gig looks like we're stuck with McGuire on tv still.

Also reports out that Gomez will be bought out. He signed his deal not long after Datsyuk signed his back in 07. Pavel's cap hit 6.7mil and he won a Cup, a couple Selkes, a few Lady Byngs and went to another Cup Final. Gomez...one trip to the 3rd round on Halak's back and isn't even playing out the contract.

People thought I was crazy when I was talking about rather playing Chicago than PHX. The drive would have still been there with Chicago and we did better all season.

I think tonight we've got a really good chance of winning. I think the rest of the team will step up in Radulov and Kostisyn's absence.

Funny you said that, last time Henry won in DC in the playoffs was April 18, 2009...Games since then have been:

4-0, 2-1, 2-1, 2-0, 3-1 @ verizon center

no. No razors to the face until your team is out of the playoffs either through victory or defeat. Once you have committed, early razor application is grounds for your team being eliminated.

Preds are playing like they're supposed to be playing in this game. This is how we win games. I think attempting to be too offensive minded was our downfall in the first two games. This is where Preds thrive.

Love these low-scoring OT games....so much tension, when is it going to finally break? Good stuff at end of that period. OV hits post, Holtby with the big saves and the PK for the Caps....Boyle goes down and blocks a shot and takes one to the face for the team.
