Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
If we play the Canucks, they will probably baseball bat Toews in the head.

Halak gets the start for the Blues. No surprise there I don't think. Gotta go with the guys who has done it.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Awesome start to the day boys (and girl)! Wife and newborn are napping so I'm able to get caught up. Not that i always post a ton, but I'll probably be less frequent with my posting this postseason. But it doesn't mean I'll stop reading.
F the Wings for 1997. F the Hawks for 2010. F the Pens for 2008, 2009, and 2012! (Wait, what?) Matty - The Avs..... they. they. Suck. Yeah. Take that. All the Pens posters in here. F off. ( :) ) And to Brohan and any other clowns. So brohan.... Go Caps. They are destined for failure as per usual. And all of us in here take great joy in that. |

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
I know this might be hard to do for some people, but what's everyone's dream (both 1 featuring your team and 1 that isn't) SC Finals match-up?
My team: Blackhawks v. Penguins - So much freaking skill here, so much star power. I would love to see Toews and Crosby finally square off. I also would love to see Bolland's line against Crosby or Malkin. Not my team: Red Wings v. Flyers - Again, another match-up with an insane amount of skill. This one would be intense. I think both would be 7 games, and be just great hockey. |

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Hmm tough one.
Dream for mine would be: Wings/Devils. Not that it could happen, don't think the Devils could do it, but I just want a rematch of 95 and haven't wanting it for 17 years. lol Not my team: Blues/Rangers. Just cause I want to see teams that haven't won or haven't won in a while. It could be a good series with the goaltending. |

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Dream matchups;
Rangers v red wings. Original 6 matchup. Otherwise, Nashville v. Boston I guess. Nashville I have a ton of respect for because they play the grind it out style similar to NYR. And Boston because seeing a team try to repeat would be exciting. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Unless it's my team I don't want to see repeats. I like seeing new teams going for it. That's why I don't want to see the Bruins, Pens, Hawks or Canucks in the Finals.
