You’ll never believe it but my wife (who is a daycare teacher) had a parent one year who was originally from Ottawa. She told my wife this once, and my wife immediately says, “oh, you must be a Senators fan then”

Evidently she was, and was 1000% stunned that not only was anyone in central Virginia aware of the Senators, but much less her daycare teacher. Apparently this particular parent took extra fondly to my wife from then on.

But I never actually met the woman. So I’m technically with you.
