Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Stalberg would be a 3rd liner on the bruins.

The bruins might shop him around in the off season but I don't think its likely. A team would have to blow them away with an offer for them to consider moving him. The bruins are so far under the cap it won't be much of an issue to keep both while giving Rask a pretty solid raise.

Toews in. Sharp to see how he feels tomorrow. Morrison centering Sharp and Hossa.
but biggest of all, Schneider in net. What the hell is that? Is Luongo tired from the week off? Resting up to play Thursday? I don't get this team. |

Took a ton of pictures from the AHL Skills Competition and ASG this weekend in AC. It was a really fun weekend.

It's easy for me to say how awesome Toews is since I watch him everyday and understand his greatness, but for Bucci to say "The only player I would trade Jonathan Toews for is a healthy and dependable Sidney Crosby," is absolutely awesome to read.

So would I. Giroux does more on the ice than Stammer. Stammer is a pure scorer while Giroux plays exceptional defense, is an excellent passer and a great leader. I guess more shock that a national writer doesn't drink the Kool Aid though Bucci is a good hockey mind

“Obviously I wanted to be here and it didn’t work out,” Leighton said. Any time you get to come back - and at the end there I was walking off and people were cheering for me. That’s a good feeling. Obviously I want to come back someday so hopefully things will work out.” He had a much stronger quote that I wish I could find. |

I just want a healthy and dependable Sidney Crosby back, and that right soon. Thank goodness for number 3 on the list. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread

I am shocked, while pleasantly surprised to see Moulson at 49. Many Islander fans consider his success due to mostly JT. I agree but only to an extent. Being in the right place at the right time almost all the time is surely a skill and I think he is as skilled around the net as anyone. He might get to 35 goals easily and that can't happen by accident. That said, Streit doesn't belng on this list at all. He has been awful most of the year. Missing all of last year with the shoulder has hampered his game. Overall, I don't have a ton of issues with it. |

Maybe I just hate the Pens, but I just don't see Kris Letang ranked 12th.

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
