Any Lightning fans in here?
I'm looking to make it down to the Caps/Tampa game in Feb, and I was wondering if anyone had insight as to when tickets go on sale, or any presale codes. Thanks in advance. |

Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Twitter's reporting Callahan is getting the C, with Richards and Staal as alternates. Seemed like the obvious decision - it was obvious he was their heart and soul last year.
So far, 2/2 on captain predictions (Backes in STL and Cally in NYR). |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
Seems like the type of guy you'd want as a captain. Don't see him a whole lot obviously but I like what I've seen when I do see the Rangers play.

I honestly would try things along those lines. "LIGHTNING" "BOLTS" etc. are probably what it's going to be. |

Has anyone been to either of those arenas? Are they nice? I made the trip down to an Atlanta game last year and was really impressed with their arena, shame they couldn't draw the crowds. The staff and fans there were incredibly open and welcoming, which was even more impressive since I was wearing my Caps jersey. We even had a man with seats next to the Caps tunnel come up to us and ask us if we wanted to stand in his spot to watch the Caps come out. Great fans and great venue. |
Re: NHL 2011/2012 Thread
An entire team gone. When I read Galimov died, it really sunk in that the world, especially the fans of the KHL, lost an entire team and that a lot of people lost their family. Such a horrible tragedy.
