Thanks, will do. I've visited the city a few times now, and will be staying with friends downtown. I'll probably spend the day exploring the city and taking pictures, but if anything changes I could be down to grab some beer beforehand.

Home to 36+ million people, as well as easy to drive to from many places in the US like a tiny state called New York, also Ottawa is the capital of Canada, also will be DMB's 51st show in said country.

It's not random, it's annual; do you consider Coachella and Lollapallooza to be "random American festivals" and wonder where they hype would be?

Canadian shows never see much posting here, but Toronto many times has been one of the first shows to sell out (16,500 capacity) so attendance is usually pretty good.

I'm pretty excited it's my home town but not a typical dave audience so apprehensive at the same time. Such a great opportunity for new fans. It's a great festival, the foo fighters are playing tonight. My highlight of the festival
is tomorrow of course. Come if you can it will be fun.

So how was this show? Set list looked kinda ok on paper if you consider they haven’t played Ottawa in like 13 years?
Poster looked ok but I’ve only seen the dmbposter Instagram photo which wasn’t the best quality.

Great show. My second this year (syracuse) they seem to be really energized this year. Dave is alive dancing smiling talking. Lots of new still last night but I like it all. Jimi thing, warehouse, crash, Rapunzel, ants, you and me. Great night.

Went to the Toronto show the night before. Had pit tix. Really great show. Had great people around us. Drove to Ottawa and caught Bluesfest. I have to say i was a tad disappointed. It was basically the exact same set list as Toronto. The Ottawa true fans were far and few between. Nobody seemed to sing when they were supposed too and Dave seemed to even pick up on that. But Hey seeing this band 2 nights in a row in 2 cities was pretty cool. Had a blast both nights with 2 different friends that had never seen them play before so that was sweet.
