my same exact thought. what song do think we should try for this year?

it's an interesting question....of course i've been thinking a lot about it. I'm thinking Warehouse this year....it hasn't gotten a lot of play, and I'd love to hear it live. other candidates for me include:

Cry Freedom
BOWA
Typical
Say Goodbye (seriously....i'd love that shit again)
Raven

there are so many potentials out there though....

honestly, i don't think that anything will compare to getting Say Goodbye last year.....

I vote Typical. I have never heard it live. Would love Raven or BOWA but got both in that sweet N1 06 run. Warehouse I got in the 08 Alpine run. Say Goodbye obviously last year.

I vote for Typical Situation. I love that song.

Re: **Deer Creek 2010**

Typical hasn't been played at DC since 2003.....that may be a good one to get again, although it did get 6 plays last year on tour. but 7 years is too long to go without that song at this venue. BOWA was played in 2006 and 2005, so i get that it's more recent for you all. the thing with that song for me, personally, is that it was played in 2006 at my very first show (which i don't remember because i was drunk and i didn't really know much about DMB at that time)....and and i've never heard it since which drives me bonkers. There were 5 songs played at that show that i've been craving ever since....The Stone (heard last year), Pig (Heard last year), BOWA, Raven, and JTR...the latter 3 are ones i need to hear to make myself feel better about not remembering that first show. so, that's just my case for BOWA and Raven....i think JTR is too unrealistic to request. But like i said 7 years is really too long to go without Typical Situation.

The other great thing about Say Goodbye last year was that it hadn't been played at any other venue previously, and DC got the only version of the tour last year. It would be cool to see that happen again. I remember back-reading our thread last year after the show and all of the people posting that night were shocked and didn't know where SG came from.....and that's the reason i was thinking Cry Freedom this year....but that's pretty unlikely.

Things are great! Had a wonderful drive into work this morning in the Jeep.

How's the little one doing? You should be about ready for #2 by now.

i wish i had a jeep in this kind of weather....i mean, driving in snow doesn't bother me...but driving in the snow with a jeep would be much more fun :)

my little man is doing well, he is just over 4 months old now, sleeping a little better at night also as of this week. i am soooo not ready for #2 right now. i'm thinking a few more years out on that one :lol

How's Kyle today?

Since so many shows either sold out/very well last year, can I have a raise?

I had a little fun, but I could see many others were pretty stressed out, so I just stayed in line with everyone else (for the most part :evil )

Glad to hear things coming along. Life is soooo much better when they start sleeping more. If you're not ready for #2 just yet, at least make sure the wife understands you still need lots of practice, so you are ready when it is time for #2.
