Tying goal was very Eberle like in the juniors vs. Russia a few years back.

Everyone at the office had there "not working" cover blown when we tied the game. It got very loud in here.

Wow, some lousy luck and bad decisions for the US in that last 3 and a half minutes. First that was bad luck having that puck hit the post on the empty net, then a highly questionable icing call and then a galactically stupid decision by that US player dicking with the puck near the net instead of flicking it out of the zone. US has no momentum now. Either way I just hope it does not end with a shootout...

Man, how do these ladies come back from this. Canada has all the momentum. Still can't believe that post. USA was inches from locking up the gold.

They had played a perfect game up until about the 15min mark of the 3rd. That post never should have happened though, had the ref not had her head up her rear-end.



Full 20min OT (sudden death) and then if necessary, shoot-out.

I know how the OT rules work and agree that ref really screwed up but the US had some bad luck as well and anyone who has ever played hockey knows you clear the zone when time is winding down, you don't screw with the puck - just flip the damn thing outside the zone.

Yeah, as much as I wanted them to seal the game with that netter, it probably would've cheapened things a bit because of the interference from the official.

NBC goes silent for the commericals so all of a sudden I'll have sound again and wonder wtf is going on. Especially when I get the tail-end of a commercial music.
